Broderbund became Red Orb and then was purchases by Ubisoft.

Mindscape/ Software Toolworks is still around http://www.mindscape.co.uk/about/CorporateInfo.asp

Sierra was purchased by Vivendi Universal and has recently released Fear.

Accolade was purchased by Infogrames in 1999

New World Computing was bought by 3DO but after 3DO went bankrupt in 2003 New World dissappeared. Their Might and Magic IP was purchased by Ubisoft

Sublogic was purchased by Sierra Online in 1995

Infocom (post Zork Nemesis) was absorbed by Activision.

Access Software was aqquired by Microsoft in 1998

Origin was aqquired by EA in the mid-1990s

Legend was aqquired by GT Interactive in 1999.
