France is issuing a 10-pack of videogame character stamps, along with some sort of collector's document and a book, with a foreward by Ken Kutaragi. They can be ordered at this site (http://timbres.laposte.fr/eng/). Select new products under "Novelties" on the main page, then go to the second page in the novelties section. They are the last three items on that page. They will ship to the US.

Adibou as a videogame legend??? Yeah right... (Adiibou is a French series of children's educational games) :hmm:

How about Carmen Sandiego instead? That'd almost make more sense... Seriously, though, why not Final Fantasy instead of Adibou? Did they try to give themselves good conscience by including an educational game, plus adding a local product (Prince of Persia isn't local to them, although Ubisoft is a French company, since it was made by Ubisoft Montreal)?

And it's interesting how, aside from Pac-Man, all the stamps are modern renditions of the characters (Mario, Donkey Kong, Prince of Persia...).

I ordered 2 sets of stamps, and with shipping the total was 9.80 Euro or $11.54. I didn't see the books until after I'd ordered.
