Is this Cartridge Repairable or not???

I got a Forgotten Worlds Genesis Cartridge. The game turns on, but when you start the game you get the dialogue between the characters and then when its supposedly about to start it goes to the Game Over screen. In other words I don't even get to see the game in action. I tried cleaning it with Q-Tips and Isoprophyl Alcohol and still the same. Any help would be great.

Either use a 3 button controller OR hold the "Mode" button down until the game starts.

Gotta love how not all games are compatable with all controllers on the Genny.

I would like to point out that I got a 6-button official Sega arcade stick, and I have yet to find a game that that controller does not work with. Plus it has a switch on the top of it to switch from being read as a three button controller and a six button controller. You can be playin a fighting game compatable with both 3 and 5 button controller, play with all 6 buttons for a while, then flip the swith to cahance to three where A,B,andC may now do diffrent action. Nice contoller, I love it. Always plugged in at home. :D
