modded astrocade?

I recently won an astrocade on ebay. When I got the machine, along with Sneaky Snake, the seller commented that the machine was from a family member who had actually made the cart Sneaky Snake. Upon further looking at the system, I noteiced that the system had been "modded". There was a switch on the front right side. A cable was coming out of the front of the system that looked like it could fit into the bally basic tape. An additional power source outlet looked to be in the back, as well as the an additional opening at the lower back of the system. Truly odd stuff. Anyone who could help me out would be appreciated. Without seeing the opening in the back of the unit it is tough to figure what may go there or is inside for that matter. If a picture is available, knowing the knowledge base here I'm sure someone will have a good idea what is up.

Hi John, are you on the bally email list or yahoo group or whatever it is? I think you can sign up through the ballyalley website. People were in contact with that seller and may have some info for you.

They have been selling Bally stuff on eBay now and again- the family who did Esoterica software.
