playing Forza at the moment, not a bad game, not a fan of "car bling" but that can be avoided.

also playing SC: Pandora Tommorow again, i feel the need to play through them again before double agent comes out, but Chaos Theory came out so fast after PT i didn't get a chance to go through it twice,

Colin Mcrae 2005 - damn this is a mother$^% of a hard game

and of course still sinking hours into Morrowind GOYT edition

Ashen for the N-Gage. Bizarre, I know.

:D
Nice, I read up on that a while ago and got kinda interested. No money for an N-Gage at the moment, sadly.

For my part, The GG Shinobi 2 (The Silent Fury)! Japanese version of the second Shinobi on the Game Gear (few differences from what I've played in emulation). The GG's screen is still horrible, even with the Wide Gear, but I've gotten to the final area, and quite far in it at that. I'd like to finish it today - that would be a cool achievement.

I've been playing MVP Baseball 2005 on the XBox. I created two players (my late best friend plus myself) and am playing a season as the Pirates. In one game this evening, my own character got hurt and is out for 10 days...and then one of my best players (a real pitcher), Oliver Perez, got injured and is out for 30 days. This season just keeps getting better and better.

Been playing mostly College Hoops 2k6 for the Playstation 2.

I've been totally into the legacy mode. I'm in my second season at UMES (University of Maryland Eastern Shore) and I'm getting my ass handled, as it should be. I was 11-19 my first season. I am now 3-3 in my second season with a few tough games ahead of me before I face my conference schedule.

Awesome game. The first sports game in a few years that has been able to hook me.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. If I could bear to let even one of my characters die, I'd have finished this already. Great game.

Chronicles of Riddick. I finally got past the boring 'no-weapons' part, which was the biggest hurdle keeping me from finishing.

GTA: San Andreas. Just messing around. I love this game.

Phoenix Wright. One of my favs. The self-referential humor is great.

And of course, Animal Crossing: Wild World. Had my gates open for almost two days on Friday and Saturday. Don't know if anyone stopped by. Just got my first additional room. I'm going to start trying to visit other towns more often.

Man I have a long line of modern games waiting to be played, but I keep getting side-tracked. The only "modern" game I am playing right now is The Legend of Heroes for PSP. There are several PS2 games that I would like to start playing, like Road Trip, Culdcept, and working on GTA:SA some more. I keep playing old stuff though.

I've been playin almost nothin but worms blast the last 2 weeks or so, i had bought it for 10 euro, which was a nice "catch" imo...not that it's rare or anything but it's always nice to have a game like in your assortiment, and actually i didn't expect much of it at first, i've read a lot of revieuws about it and it never got good revieuws ( at least not in the mags over here anyway....)

So,i came home, put it in the 'cube, and man, i was hooked immediatly !, i couldn't stop playing the single player puzzle mode, and then a couple of days later an old friend of mine came over and we tryed the VS mode, again, we had a blast....today i finished the puzzle mode i am genuinly sorry that it's over :(

Sure,it's a total puzzle bobble / bust-a-move rip off, sure it aint the worms we're used to , sure it isn't anything new but c'mon, does it have to ?

To me,this is one of those typical games that doesn't get a lot of attention, doesnt recieve great revieuws, but i'd definatly call it a daimond in the rough....and i'm pretty sure the VS mode will be getting a lot more action everytime my friend comes, he always picks calvin that annoying sheep, and man, let me tell you, the sound of his boat made us laugh over and over again, silly i know... LOL

I don't think I've posted this, but since this week is coming to an end and I doubt (unless I need surgery again) that I will ever have the time to do this again...

I've been playing:

GCN: Chaos Fields, Paper Mario, 1080 Avalanch, Midway's Arcade's Greatest Hits
Xbox: Conker, MLB 2K5, Dead or Alive Ultimate (1 and 2), Dead or Alive 3, Headhunter Redemption, Indiana Jones, Raze's Hell, Pinball Hall of Fame
And practically half of the currently released DS library. Seriously. I got the most use out of this while in the hospital waiting for things to happen, and I finished -- usually by actually beating them -- about 20 games for the system. And I have played about another 15 of them lately.

Now that I am back on my feet and can do more than just lie in bed or on the couch, I've gone down to Lost In Blue for the DS for the last two days, and I think I'm about done with that now.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Crime is excellent by the way. I literally played through that in a day. Worth every penny.

Played the hell out of Simcity4 and Battelfield 1942. I got both games earlier last week in the space EA Games cases so they are complete collections.

In 1942, i played a good 10 matches switching between allied and axis forces. Pretty nice for an '02 title. I might try out the other games in the series tomorrow or later during spring break.

Screwing around in Simcity4 I was able to build nice big cities that went broke after a few hundred years of debt. It's a rough game, but I'll continue working at it just as I did with the earlier Simcities to get better. Must say though, the quests suck ass!

Trust me. It gets better as you work your way into the city. My only prob with GRAW is the one shot kills. But, I should've expected it from a Tom Clancy game.

Arc the Lad:Twilight of the Spirits PS2 - a solid RPG that may not be for everyone but I like the tone and overall "feel" of the game it reminds me of many of the old 16-bit RPGs like the legend of Mana.

GTA:SA PS2- still just starting out on this massive game it will be a miracle if I ever finish it O_O

Gradius V PS2- still working on getting additional credits for this amazing Treasure developed traditional 2-D sidescroller.

Fired up the Ferrari GT that everyone recommends and now I'm in "practice mode", learning to drive it flat out. Damn, is it fast! Awesome acceleration and top speed. Using the E class Maranello as recommended back-up too. It works nicely.

I play through that repeatedly as well. GC or PS2 copy? I also just started completing all of my medals in PGR3. I find it a lot more enjoyable than GT4 because the physics aren't exact and you get to race cars you used to and/or still drool over (CC8S, Diablo in Chiarro Blue)

That and the cone challenge. I can't get enough of those events.

Decided to kill my cities I worked on over Spring Break and am redesigning landscapes for Simcity 4 RH. It's looking pretty cool with the new terrain! I'll have to see what I can do with it though because I'm going to try some new approaches to building. Last time my cities thrived til around 50k population, then no one else wanted to move in. I need to fix that problem however it arrose by building with new layouts. Also I might get some Battlefield in this weekend because I haven't played it in a few weeks and it was pretty damn fun.

Gran Turismo 4 - I havent enjoyed a GT game this much since GT2 on PSX everything that was good on GT3 has been near perfected with part 4 I also like the handling of the cars better than that of part 3.

I was surprised that I actually enjoy the B-spec mode unlike many others , its a great way to make more $$$ IMO instead of having to race the same tracks over and over to get or update a new car.

Playing Outrun 2 on Xbox.

I would say so yes.

Im terrible at most racers especially racing sims but I have picked up every Gran Turismo since the series started but the only one I got more than 72% in game was part 2 on PSone but I highly recommend part 4 to anyone who has traditionally stayed away from racing sims especially with its current greatest hits price its worth every penny.

It still takes a while to get things started in the Gran Turismo mode BUT the B-spec mode makes it less of a hassle at the start of the game to acquire $$$ and get more cars.
- all you have to do is start a race in B-spec mode and tap the Triangle button so that the car will overtake the competitors and let the AI take over from there you will earn the same amount of money from the race as if you raced it in A-spec (manual) the only difference is that you cant earn the trophy cars using B-spec mode alone-

The handling of the cars is more forgiving than previous GTs IMO also.

Some of the tracks graphics are of near first-gen Xbox360 quality too especially the mountain/woods and off-road tracks.

I have been playing Pokemon non-stop for the past month or more - maybe even since Christmas. Finished FireRed and just finished Emerald on Sunday. Beat the "elite four" (more like Elite SIX) from Colosseum a few weeks ago, and I just have to say that that was the most intense battling I've ever done - at least the Elite Four from the GBA games let you heal up with items in between.

Now am going through and leveling-up some Linoones to use Pickup and get a bunch of rare candies, and am going to be breeding and training a DEVASTATING team - hopefully to compete in the championships that are going to be coming around my area in June / July.

Have just now discovered Netbattle, but more importantly - have discovered the strategies and the planning power of Metalkid's Pokemon Program:

http://www.metalkid.org/

There's obviously so much in the game that I never even imagined - so many nasty battle strategies. This prog also auto-calculates breeding chains to get the moves you want on the characters you want.

Already have most of my team planned out...I'm going to aim to crush the opponents.

I'm edging my way through Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on the Xbox. I've wasted all my bullets shooting out lights so now I have to run up to/creep up behind people and punch them until they pass out, while they're shooting at me.

I still need to get the hang of stealth games. I'm more of a run-around-screaming-shooting-everyone-in-sight person.

I'm also playing a tournament in Fifa 2005 as my home team. I started out on easy because I'm not very good at football games but I decided it was too easy when I won 12 games in a row, so I put the difficulty up to normal and now I'm getting average results.

I'm stuck on Silent Hill 4 and I don't want to use a guide.

I'm mucking around on Forza but I'm not achieving much.

I activated a two moth Live trial last week and so far I've spent about half an hour on it. :/

Now I'm debating whether or not to buy a screen for my PS2 to play it in the car while I chauffeur dad around to business meetings.

I finally got around to buying what will probably be my last current-gen Xbox game - Black.

And in all honesty, I'm not having as much fun as I thought I would, with the game. But god, I love just watching shit blow up.

I also found a cheap, new Hori DOA4 stick today, so I'm gonna start playing DOA4 again.

Maybe I'll give the online another shot since I seemed to suck the last time I tried.

Tonight I played some God of War. The section in the Hades level I tried many many times and failed two weeks ago was a breeze this time and I did it first try. It's always like that.

Now I'm stuck on the bit with the beams and the spinning axes.

I'm thinking of getting back into Half Life 2 on the Xbox later.

Oblivion, Oblivion, Oblivion. Started my 4th character. I'm getting to be able to whip through these guild quests at a really fast pace now.

Full Auto. More people need to buy this incredibly kick-ass arcade racer game. Disregard the majority of the pro reviewers. They were wrong yet again.

went "slumming" so I picked up Rumble Roses and True Crime:New York both for PS2.

SURPRISE they both are pretty fun Rumble Roses is actually a decent wrestling game and is ummmm....entertaining yea thats it and True Crime:NY isnt near as terrible as the critics said it was IMO hell I was expecting a bad game and bought it just for that reason to see how BAD it really was BUT it turns out that ive actually had fun playing this game even with the few glitches ive seen.

Decided to toss Ridge 6 back into my 360 to see if I could finish it.

No fuckin' way.

How the hell do you finish the last races? The game WAS great. Too bad the bullshit difficulty at the end ruins the experience. There isn't a single special car that feels "right" enough to drive at the level that those last races demand. I love Ridge Racer games....I hate Ridge Racer games. RR5, PSP and 6 are ridiculous in their difficulty. At least the first four were finishable without frustration.

A launch title reduced to trade-in fodder. Just great.

I beat God Of War the other night. I'm about to restart it on a higher difficulty.

I'm progressing through Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on Xbox. I think I've got the hang of the stealthiness needed. I'm actually putting thought into a game for once. It does get frustrating at times, though.

There are a few games I've started but still haven't finished, stuff I'm trying to get through. There are several (make that several stacks) of games I still haven't started yet. But what do I do in my spare time?

I keep on playing Guitar Hero! I just can't stop, it's like a disease. And it's just gonna get worse when the new one comes out.

HALO 2 almost everyday.

I picked up Oblivion (xbox360) so I'm playing that as well. Awesome game although I'm hoping they mix up the enemies you battle while walking around the map. It's getting old fighting a crab every 10 minutes by the water or a wolf every 10 minutes inland. Any thoughts?

Lots of Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast today on the Xbox.

Project Gotham Racing 2 has also seen a lot of playtime. 50 Xbox games including some that have never been opened, and that game is still in the drive usually despite being the second game I purchased for the system. :)

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

I thought it looked "ok" from reviews and decided I might get it if I ever got a DS. I normally don't like RPGs. It turns out it's really fun and I've played 8 hours since I got it yesterday. That's a lot of time for me to spend on one game in two days.

Some of it gets a bit repetitive, like battles, and some of the language used is silly. For some reason I emphasise bad points and don't mention good points. I think the dual screens are used well.

It's a shame DS games are relatively expensive and don't seem to come down in price unless they're crap. Considering I've had eight hours of good play time out of it and I'm nowhere near finished, I'd say it's worth more than other games that only last 8 hours until the end and have no replay value. The Getaway were two I regretted paying full price for.

FINALLY found a new copy of Halo 2 and paid $40 for the basic version. Finding the game around here is like pulling teeth....seriously. It's been sold out everywhere for months and months. EB tried to slide me the ol' opened and unsealed "new" copy and the guy looked bummed when I asked for a factory sealed one. I wish that EB would fuck off with those "greasy" tactics of theirs. LOL

Walmart had a great price reduction on King Kong for 360. I'd been meaning to get this game due to all of the positive reviews I've seen. I fired it up last night and my only complaint so far is that it seems like the game is pulling you along at too fast a pace. "hurry up, don't dawdle and look at the scenery, hurry up, over here!!" "Hurry, Jack. Hurry, hurry, hurry!"

Wanted something completely different today, and after reading many good reviews, bought Amped 3 for 360.

It's very good with a very new approach to the same old snowboarding/bmx/skateboarding game. It'll make you laugh out loud with it's presentation. I'm glad that I bought it.
