Getting near the end in Kameo. I'm actually glad that I was in the mood for a platformer and decided to buy this game due to a lack of anything else available. The frenzied start that I had originally experienced in the OXM demo didn't initially thrill me....but after that....wow. This game is pure fun.

Put Kameo down for a bit and resumed Project Gotham 3. Started in on gold/ platinum and grabbed all 80 cars. Fired up the Ferrari GT that everyone recommends and now I'm in "practice mode", learning to drive it flat out. Damn, is it fast! Awesome acceleration and top speed. Using the E class Maranello as recommended back-up too. It works nicely.

Oblivion tomorrow.

I play through that repeatedly as well. GC or PS2 copy? I also just started completing all of my medals in PGR3. I find it a lot more enjoyable than GT4 because the physics aren't exact and you get to race cars you used to and/or still drool over (CC8S, Diablo in Chiarro Blue)

That and the cone challenge. I can't get enough of those events.

Decided to kill my cities I worked on over Spring Break and am redesigning landscapes for Simcity 4 RH. It's looking pretty cool with the new terrain! I'll have to see what I can do with it though because I'm going to try some new approaches to building. Last time my cities thrived til around 50k population, then no one else wanted to move in. I need to fix that problem however it arrose by building with new layouts. Also I might get some Battlefield in this weekend because I haven't played it in a few weeks and it was pretty damn fun.

Still hacking away at College Hoops 2k6 on the PS2. I finished my 2nd season at UMES, finishing with a 19-11 record. I lost the conference championship game. 1 game from a tournament bid! Ugh! I've been able to recruit some 3 star players so I'm hoping to turn the corner real soon.

Also been playing Super Mario Bros.1 on the NES. My son was playing it and struggling so Pops had to get on and show him how we did old school style. ;)

Fire Emblem GBA again... For some reason I deleted my saves because I didnt like the path I had taken in the game. But, for the first time an about 2years a game disk has entered the XBMC's DVD drive. Sat down and decided to play through Jet Set Radio Future again. I really should get Panzer Dragoon Orta if I see it cheap too.

Gran Turismo 4 - I havent enjoyed a GT game this much since GT2 on PSX everything that was good on GT3 has been near perfected with part 4 I also like the handling of the cars better than that of part 3.

I was surprised that I actually enjoy the B-spec mode unlike many others , its a great way to make more $$$ IMO instead of having to race the same tracks over and over to get or update a new car.

Playing Outrun 2 on Xbox.

I would say so yes.

Im terrible at most racers especially racing sims but I have picked up every Gran Turismo since the series started but the only one I got more than 72% in game was part 2 on PSone but I highly recommend part 4 to anyone who has traditionally stayed away from racing sims especially with its current greatest hits price its worth every penny.

It still takes a while to get things started in the Gran Turismo mode BUT the B-spec mode makes it less of a hassle at the start of the game to acquire $$$ and get more cars.
- all you have to do is start a race in B-spec mode and tap the Triangle button so that the car will overtake the competitors and let the AI take over from there you will earn the same amount of money from the race as if you raced it in A-spec (manual) the only difference is that you cant earn the trophy cars using B-spec mode alone-

The handling of the cars is more forgiving than previous GTs IMO also.

Some of the tracks graphics are of near first-gen Xbox360 quality too especially the mountain/woods and off-road tracks.

All I can say is that we now have a new winner in the "best looking game on Xbox 360" contest. I knew from screenshots that it would look better on 360 than anything else but I never thought that it would look THIS fantastic. Gameplay? Wow.....awesome control AND absolutely fun. I have been playing Pokemon non-stop for the past month or more - maybe even since Christmas. Finished FireRed and just finished Emerald on Sunday. Beat the "elite four" (more like Elite SIX) from Colosseum a few weeks ago, and I just have to say that that was the most intense battling I've ever done - at least the Elite Four from the GBA games let you heal up with items in between.

Now am going through and leveling-up some Linoones to use Pickup and get a bunch of rare candies, and am going to be breeding and training a DEVASTATING team - hopefully to compete in the championships that are going to be coming around my area in June / July.

Have just now discovered Netbattle, but more importantly - have discovered the strategies and the planning power of Metalkid's Pokemon Program:

http://www.metalkid.org/

There's obviously so much in the game that I never even imagined - so many nasty battle strategies. This prog also auto-calculates breeding chains to get the moves you want on the characters you want.

Already have most of my team planned out...I'm going to aim to crush the opponents.
