Just picked up Pinball hall of fame for PS2.

I knew I should have got this a looong time ago since I still play the old Pinbot on NES emu.
The graphics are silky smooth and the gameplay is perfect and even the "atmosphere" makes you feel like your in an old arcade back in the day.

A must for any Pinball fans. I know that its available on the PS2 and Gamecube and probably for Xbox also.

Mostly been playing Shadow Hearts: From the New World.

Fun, classic RPG goodness. It's nothing revolutionary, but a lot of RPGs these days get too complicated for my taste. SH isn't like that.

Finished/got 2 endings in Silent Hill 4 (PS2) last week.

Got back into Gungriffon: Blaze (PS2). Had to replay Athens *** mission 7-8 times. Finally got past it but not looking forward to the next mission- but it's a great game.

& as always, continuing another adventure through Champions of Norrath: RoE (PS2) as a female high elf Cleric. Can only use blunt hand weapons (no swords, axes, bows, spears) so the final boss battle should be fun... :roll:

Just finished God of War on normal = Incredible, Kick Ass and most of all FUN.

God of War is Now officially tied with my second favorite PS2 game MGS3.

Damn that Hades level was a BITCH :angry:

tried it on GOD mode but only made it past the Hydra (first boss) but I may try Spartan mode.

I'm edging my way through Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on the Xbox. I've wasted all my bullets shooting out lights so now I have to run up to/creep up behind people and punch them until they pass out, while they're shooting at me.

I still need to get the hang of stealth games. I'm more of a run-around-screaming-shooting-everyone-in-sight person.

I'm also playing a tournament in Fifa 2005 as my home team. I started out on easy because I'm not very good at football games but I decided it was too easy when I won 12 games in a row, so I put the difficulty up to normal and now I'm getting average results.

I'm stuck on Silent Hill 4 and I don't want to use a guide.

I'm mucking around on Forza but I'm not achieving much.

I activated a two moth Live trial last week and so far I've spent about half an hour on it. :/


Now I'm debating whether or not to buy a screen for my PS2 to play it in the car while I chauffeur dad around to business meetings.

I finally got around to buying what will probably be my last current-gen Xbox game - Black.

And in all honesty, I'm not having as much fun as I thought I would, with the game. But god, I love just watching shit blow up.

I also found a cheap, new Hori DOA4 stick today, so I'm gonna start playing DOA4 again.

Maybe I'll give the online another shot since I seemed to suck the last time I tried.

Tonight I played some God of War. The section in the Hades level I tried many many times and failed two weeks ago was a breeze this time and I did it first try. It's always like that.

Now I'm stuck on the bit with the beams and the spinning axes.

I'm thinking of getting back into Half Life 2 on the Xbox later.

went "slumming" so I picked up Rumble Roses and True Crime:New York both for PS2.

SURPRISE they both are pretty fun Rumble Roses is actually a decent wrestling game and is ummmm....entertaining yea thats it and True Crime:NY isnt near as terrible as the critics said it was IMO hell I was expecting a bad game and bought it just for that reason to see how BAD it really was BUT it turns out that ive actually had fun playing this game even with the few glitches ive seen.

Decided to toss Ridge 6 back into my 360 to see if I could finish it.

No fuckin' way.

How the hell do you finish the last races? The game WAS great. Too bad the bullshit difficulty at the end ruins the experience. :angry: There isn't a single special car that feels "right" enough to drive at the level that those last races demand. I love Ridge Racer games....I hate Ridge Racer games. RR5, PSP and 6 are ridiculous in their difficulty. At least the first four were finishable without frustration.

A launch title reduced to trade-in fodder. Just great. :angry:

I'm progressing through Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on Xbox. I think I've got the hang of the stealthiness needed. I'm actually putting thought into a game for once. It does get frustrating at times, though.

HALO 2 almost everyday.

I picked up Oblivion (xbox360) so I'm playing that as well. Awesome game although I'm hoping they mix up the enemies you battle while walking around the map. It's getting old fighting a crab every 10 minutes by the water or a wolf every 10 minutes inland. Any thoughts?

Project Gotham Racing 2 has also seen a lot of playtime. 50 Xbox games including some that have never been opened, and that game is still in the drive usually despite being the second game I purchased for the system. :)

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

I thought it looked "ok" from reviews and decided I might get it if I ever got a DS. I normally don't like RPGs. It turns out it's really fun and I've played 8 hours since I got it yesterday. That's a lot of time for me to spend on one game in two days.

Some of it gets a bit repetitive, like battles, and some of the language used is silly. For some reason I emphasise bad points and don't mention good points. I think the dual screens are used well.

It's a shame DS games are relatively expensive and don't seem to come down in price unless they're crap. Considering I've had eight hours of good play time out of it and I'm nowhere near finished, I'd say it's worth more than other games that only last 8 hours until the end and have no replay value. The Getaway were two I regretted paying full price for.

FINALLY found a new copy of Halo 2 and paid $40 for the basic version. Finding the game around here is like pulling teeth....seriously. It's been sold out everywhere for months and months. EB tried to slide me the ol' opened and unsealed "new" copy and the guy looked bummed when I asked for a factory sealed one. I wish that EB would fuck off with those "greasy" tactics of theirs. LOL

Walmart had a great price reduction on King Kong for 360. I'd been meaning to get this game due to all of the positive reviews I've seen. I fired it up last night and my only complaint so far is that it seems like the game is pulling you along at too fast a pace. "hurry up, don't dawdle and look at the scenery, hurry up, over here!!" "Hurry, Jack. Hurry, hurry, hurry!"

It's very good with a very new approach to the same old snowboarding/bmx/skateboarding game. It'll make you laugh out loud with it's presentation. I'm glad that I bought it.
