I've been getting into Panzer Dragoon Orta, I might be one of the rare people on DP that hasn't played the original (thankfully it's on the same disk!). Just got to the fifth chapter, and I'm starting to feel it. LOL

Da Vinci Code - all the reviewers seemed to have ragged on this game, but so far me and the girlfriend are having a blast playing it. Set up in psuedo Resident Evil style with the exploration, and the puzzles are a little one the easy side but still very fun to play through. I'm still trying to figure out why exactly people seem to hate this game, it would have been perfect as a point-and-click adventure, but still stands on its own two feet. The combat is the only thing that I can find that deters from the game, but again the puzzles are king here and the combat is just some filler to get from puzzle to puzzle.

Final Fantasy XI. Can't... stop... playing... (Xbox360)

Also, when I can rip myself away from the terribly addictive MMO genre, I've got some Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to keep me busy. It's really good! Much better than I was expecting, since in general I'm awful at tactical games and it's spawned an unfair hatred toward most of the games in the genre.

Today, I've been jumping back-and-forth between

-BF2: Modern Combat
and -Rockstar Table Tennis

I'm trying to get more characters unlocked. I've pretty much mastered playing with Jester and Liu Ping in Table Tennis. I'm going by winning matches - the hard tuorney's AI kicks your ass, no matter who you play as.

Call of Duty 2 on Veteran. Quite possibly the cheapest game I've ever played.

It's not truly difficult. It's just that the computer cheats like a motherfucker. I've seen guys (enemies, that is) spawn right before my eyes. I've turned around to see enemies spawn at dead ends. I've engaged in fifteen minute firefights with enemies that just keep respawning until you cross a certain point on the map.

It's cheap as hell, and not in the least bit fun. The whole game is scripted too, and that becomes painfully obvious when you have to do the same section twenty times.

Did I mention that the game will spawn guys in rooms adjacent to you -- rooms that you just checked? And that said guys will then gun you down from behind? I should have.

If it wasn't for the achievement points, I would have thrown this piece of crap out the window a long time ago. As it stands...only 2 and a half more missions. And then it goes back to my friend.

Brothers In Arms: Earned In Blood

Wasn't too stuck on the first one, and this hasn't changed my mind any. Just not for me I guess. It's really irritating to empty a whole clip on an exposed enemy, only to have it do nothing because the game thinks they're behind cover. Argh.

New Super Mario Bros.

I've done everything there is to do, but I still keep playing the damn thing.

LOL, I got that for my wife last week, and she is far from a "Gamer" I mean, she likes cutsie, or puzzle games, thats about it.. but she is emersed in this game, and she is having fun too, and so far, I haven't had to help her with it.. she is having fun. I would say the reviews were a bit harsh... the game looks fun, and it is surprisingly deeper than the movie, i.e, to me it seems more engrossing than the movie..

I also try to play Animal Crossing WW every day or so at least to get all the fruit and whack all the rocks. If I'm feeling bored I'll also catch many bugs and fish the ocean dry. I just finished the absolutely amazing Gun. I grabbed this game out of curiousity and was floored by it's high quality. Never touched it before because it does suffer from ugly cover syndrome.

Now I'm aiming to play Tomb Raider Legend to completion. Another great game that I bought on release day but hadn't gotten to yet. I own a dozen Xbox 360 games and want to start completing them in order to boost my Achievement score to where it should be.
