I was thinking of selling off a copy of Suikoden II, simply because I am a poor college student. So, do the values of rare games go up towards the holidays or would I be better off holding on to it as a more long-term investment? I can't see too much of a market for last-minute rare games, as most of the time these games are long sought-after, whether or not it happens to be close to X-mas or not.

P.S. Think Suikoden II will hover around $100 for eternity?

Personally I think the "wait for the holiday season to ebay" is complete BS. I honestly see no difference in sales of most items on there. If you're in need of the money I'd sell it.

Why don't you list it in the Buying & Selling thread (READ THE RULES FIRST LOL ) and sell it when someone offers you what you want?

list it the day after thanksgiving.

Put a 99$ BIN on it and bam.
Some idiot will grab it.

Sales if anything seem a little lower on eBay around Christmas, in my opinion. (Or maybe it's just like that because of all the deals I see and have no money left to purchase after Christmas shopping?)

Put it up in the Buying and Selling forum here, then if you must, pop it up on eBay with a Buy It Now of what you're looking to get.

A lot of people are saving up money for next gen systems / to pay off their visa bill for the 360 around this time. I think you should have sold it a month or two ago. Best to wait now till about March, I would say!

I 've sold thousands of game and systems on Ebay and they ALWAYS sell dor around 20% more in November and December. And they sell a lot quicker also.

It's just a fact. Supply and Demand.
