Coleco tabletops: The Next Generation

With the price of Color LCDs like the one used in the ipod coming down, it would be awesome if they made a new series of mini arcade cabs like the old Coleco tabletops. The games would be exactly the same as the originals, and judging from the plug n play Jakks games you could easily fit all the electronics you need inside.

Just think about having a mini arcade full of games! Makes me all tingly!

I've often thought about that too, but I doubt it would happen... And it's true that with today's technology, it really wouldn't be difficult to do, whereas it would really look like the real thing.

They could even make little plastic transparent marquees with LED's behind them! \^_^/
