View Full Version : 40 dollars for factory sealed Lost Vikings 2?
Do you guys think 40 dollars is too much for a factory sealed copy of Lost Vikings 2 for the SNES?

Yes, but I play the games, so I wouldn't pay a big premium just to get something that's sealed. I'd rather spend $10 on one that's already been opened, but is complete.
Yeah, I plan on opening it if I buy it, but I'm having trouble finding a complete one from a seller that ships to Canada.

Don't get me wrong - it's probably a fair price, I was just answering the question as a potential buyer.
To look at it another way, it probably sold for $40 new 10 years ago; if you buy it now for $40, you're just picking it up really late. :)

I picked one up last august off ebay sealed for $10 BIN + $5 shipping, which I thought was a great deal since all I could find around here was cart only for $20. Bought it from eonlineauctionstore, dunno if any are left though :/
EDIT: even if he did, I dunno if I would buy considering i didnt see the game for 5 months, but that's only my experience.
Thanks for the input, it seems like complete/sealed ones go on a lot, so I'm going to hold out for a cheaper copy X_x

I see them all the time. No reason you shouldn't be able to get one for 20-25.

Well, if you just want to play the game, I'd wager the PSX version is cheaper. You can even get a brand-new copy of the PC port of the PSX version for $15 (http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/norsexnwpj.htm). (Of course, some would say the SNES sprites are vastly superior to the PSX models.)
