Ghost in the shell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have finally re-found this great game for the low-low price of 15 dollars, the disk is in good shape, minus a few light scratches...

Either way, does anybody else here have this game, or had the opportunity to play it? If not I highly reccomend it.

I have played it quite a bit. It is a cool game but I am not sure why the whole thing is based around the spider mecha.. *shrugs*

Neat-o game, the only thing that dissapointed me is the connection with the film is pretty thin. Still, it's a fun game on it's own and it's nice that you don't have to be into Ghost to enjoy the game.

The Ghost in the Shell game has more in common with the police-case storytelling of the manga series, though it borrows the voice actors and Tron-esque city maps of the movie. It's an awesome game, and I think there's a PS2 title in the works, based on either the Ghost in the Shell: Man-Machine Interface comics or the Stand Alone Complex TV series. I forget which.

I have it too..just got it in a trade recently and haven't popped it in yet. As for a thin connection to the movie, well, the movie is pretty thin to begin with IMO. Not exactly a great translation job on that movie, or it just wasn't incredibly deep to begin with. Pretty tho :) The only anime movie I like less than Ghost in the Shell is Vampire Hunter D.

Watch Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. The original, I'll agree, sucked but this one is much better. I also hate the Ghiost in the Shell anime, and my head hurt trying to follow the manga, so I haven't played the game.

The game is so awesome! Now I suggest you go get the soundtrack. I've only gotten to like the 4-5 level when you have to face another "ghost" so to speak.

In the manga, she goes around in the little pod (though I like the little cutesy animation in the beginning with it)

by the way dept:

the developer, exact, also programmed a couple of games called jumping flash, jumping flash 2, and most likely the other two games, pocket muu muu, and robbit mon dieu (jumping flash 3), also pretty cool little titles, if i may say so myself...

Figures....I dig Jumping Flash 2 :) Still need a complete US Jumping Flash tho.....
