Can anyone either direct me to it, please, or email it to me?
My email address > cary@easy.com

I'm an SNES guy, but , unfortuneately, my console of choice doesn't have this absolute classic available for it, so I'm using a NES emulator.

The ROM I'm using -- obtained from three different sources -- doesn't seem to work: The graphics are jumbled.
I've tried restarting, reloading the emulator, etc., etc. but it's still the same.

If anyone has a "BurgerTime" ROM that works please send it.
I'm using the "FCE Ultra" NES emulator, by the way.

Thanks In Advance!

If you got a PS1 just pick up "Midway Arcade's Greatest HITS"

It does have BurgerTime on it :D

Hey Jagasian, you seem to be well versed with NES dev and emu. Do you know of anywhere (or maybe you have it yourself) that has a good dump of Super Sprint (U)? The verified one for download everywhere is a bad dump. It has garbled graphics on the winner / game over screen as well as the upgrade screen - minor but still incorrect. The Famicom version is properly dumped, however.

Additionally the original release of Blades of Steel (with the intermission screens) has never been properly dumped. In fact later when the rerelease version was dumped (that had the intermissions removed due to it being released long after Jackal and Contra) most sites simply wrote it over the original bad dump. Have that eiter? LOL

I may PM you this if you don't come back into the thread.

Allot of ROMs are bad because their headers are bad, and GoodNES doesn't check that a ROM's header is correct. Some emulators, such as Nestopia, include a built in database that lets the emulator calculate the correct header for a given ROM, even if the ROM's header is bad. Hence it can auto-correct for bad headers. It won't alter the ROM, but it will play it correctly. So if you are on Windows or OSX, and you have good hardware, you can give Nestopia a shot on ROMs that you think are bad. If it doesn't run correctly in Nestopia, it most likely is a bad ROM dump.

http://www.bannister.org/software/nestopia.htm

With the re-release of the CopyNES, many ROMs will be re-dumped. I just hope they are _all_ redumped into UNIF format. .UNIF is better than .NES because .NES only includes mapper info, while .UNIF includes cart circuit board type info. To make a long story short, in order to properly emulate every Famicom/NES game, an emulator needs to know each game's circuit board type. The mapper alone is not enough. NES games are a combo of hardware and software, unlike modern games which are purely software.

If you want every ROM you can imagine, use google. It is against board rules to post links to ROMs, but I will say that you should search for Good ROMs Heaven. The rest is up to you.

Vimm.net edits the rom headers to put their URL in them, bad form. Also the download of Super Sprint they have is the bad dump I was talking about, and Blades of Steel is the second release without the intermission sequences.

but I will say that you should search for Good ROMs Heaven. The rest is up to you.

Thanks for the heads up! I use NEStopia as well for emu on the PC.

Aarrgh.. I wish I had access to my NES carts right this very second so that I could help knock out a nice little chunk :(

Hell, I don't even have a NES available to me right now to send to get modified. Damnit.
