2 endings on Altered Beast?

I just finished this game yesterday on the normal mode and at the end of the credits it says something like "press any button to play next stage" and the game starts over from the first stage but with more enemies.Does this game have two endings like Ghouls N Ghosts?

I dunno, but technically, they game can have infinite endings depending on how you kick and punch the words in the end credits. ;)

no.

you just play the game on the next dificulty level (I beleive there was 6) then it just keeps looping on the hardest dificulty level forever.
