Dixons.co.uk have a Spyro-themed PSOne Starter Pack (http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0306814755.113286270 3@@@@&BV_EngineID=cceiaddgfliffjjcflgceggdhhmdgmk.0&pageFrom=SimpleSearchProducts&page=Product&sku=928985) for a pretty damn cool price of £14.99. It comes complete with 2 Analogue controllers, a memory card and a copy of the Spyro game.

I also found a voucher code you can use while purchasing. If I remember correctly, the code was "NHS247", though it only saves you 75 pence. Still, pretty good bargain, so if you're keen, I'd snap this up like I did tonight.

Enjoy :)

oh, badass.

Any idea which Spyro game it comes with? Not that it very much matters since all three on PSOne kicked much ass (even if they weren't all that difficult).

No idea, sorry :( I'm not one for the Spyro franchise, myself, but this is a good deal for collectors, I thought. Can't wait for mine - it'll be my first PSOne :)

Yep. Though the shipping is like a fiver. Still, great value. I wonder if they just "turned up", or what.

box looks cool, but they only ship to the UK. :(

Probably old stock. Maybe they think the best time to get rid of it is during the x-mas period. Not a bad idea imo.

Mine arrived today, and it is Spyro: Year of the Dragon. No idea which one that is, but there you are.

The box is quite cool.

Currys and Comet were (are still?) selling Gamecubes for 25 quid. Not sure if they still have stock.

Did I miss a thread about it? :(

I'm quite tempted by the GameCube £25 deal although I think in future I'll easily be able to pick one up for that kind of price. The PSone deal really does nothing for me - there were always loads of them going for dirt cheap at car boot sales in the summer. Hmm, if I had some more money I'd be tempted for the GameCube

I have to say, I am really disappointed someone didn't post about the GameCube deal. Can no one be bothered any more?

Because fellow DPers decided other people weren't worthy of being told! That, my friend, is why. Makes me sick to the stomach that people can't share hot deals like this around. It is just pure greed.

I posted the PSOne bargain the moment I found it, as did someone else.

Where is the festive spirit, huh? Where, I ask you, WHERE!
