Xbox 360 question.

I just heard on the news about problems with the Xbox 360, that the system will over heat and melt the games. Anyone else hear about this or about this happening to anybody? What other defects does anyone else know about.

That is absurd!

The 360 does run hot and your games will be hot when you take them out. But it takes a shit load more heat to melt a disc. Trust me that rumour is bullshit.

The 2 common defect complaints are:

It over heats and crashes. There's a unique solution to the problem here (http://www.gamespot.com/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=23998153&page=0).

It scratchs discs if vertical. I've been using it vertically and i've certainly never had this problem.

I think that's it.
