Darius Arcade 3-screen? Remember it?

Hello all:

I remember back in the day playing a three-screen version of Darius. It was around the time of that great simpsons game and Ninja Warriors(I think). Basically it was a great widescreen version of Darius. It kind of had a hard-rocky vibe to the music. I remember the game but not the name. 4 player maybe. Anyone know it?

It's Darius II (1989). We had the 3-screen version at our local arcade; there's also a 2-screen version that was at the bowling alley. It's only 1 or 2 player. :)

Thanks. I did a wikipedia search for it and now have some screenshots and a drive to play it again in the wild. The arcade that had it is long gone...so I will start looking at arcade suppliers around here and elsewhere. Why spend money on an X360 when I can relive my childhood :D

There is still at least one here in UK,its in boulevard amusements which is located in our seaside resort `Blackpool` during my last visit on my B`day (june 1st 2005) the middle monitor had failed and was blank but the screen displays either side were fine.. :hmm:
