I'm not really big on this genre, but the Neo Geo has some excellent examples (your list seems to be pretty awesome, as well); Nightmare in the Dark being an example. Not a genre-defining game, but very nice to look at.

Well, I'm not quite sure on what a fixed platform is, but 1 of the best co ops is naturally D&D: Shadow Over Mysteria.
Makes me feel like going to the arcade right now.

Hmmnn it's quite a nice game but fixed as in doesn't scroll as in side scrolling platformer or side scrolling beat em up.
I think I'm right. :D

Not a fixed platformer. We're talking about the classic games where you run around a closed one-screen stage and do stuff like bounce enemies above you off bricks...with your HEAD.
I'd pick Mr. Goemon, except it's a scroller. It has some ideas seen in Mario Bros., but it's a unique creature. Love it to death - great game.

This genre seems almost typecast to the arcade scene so no other Console or PC games in this vein anywhere? Anyone? :(
