How often do you guys get stupid requests from buyers?

Sold a Legend of Zelda, NES, cart only

Buyer says in note section

please ship in box or envelope so kids dont see what it is in the mail. thanks!!!

DAMNIT!!! I was planning on just taking a Sharpie and putting her address on the back of it, and sticking the stamps right on the front label, now I have to waste a bubble envelope!!!! LOL

I've had people send a console before by just sticking a big label on the front of the box and pasting the stamps on the top.

Sometimes you do need to specify ...

I think the question is pretty logical. If you send it in a envelope you can easy feel what it is if your familiar with NES games. I guess the buyer didnt want the son/daughter to feel what it could be if he got the mail. Maybe its a present or something.

Wow, some of you really need to relax a bit

You don't have to be a guardian angel on every single post someone makes, laugh a little

Hehe, just because I dont find it funny means I have to relax? Wheres the logic? And every post? You have 24 posts and I have over 2000, so how do you know I do it in every post?
We all have diffrent humor and if someone dont think something is funny you should learn to respect that.

lol let the flaming begin!!!!!!

that was me that asked for the IOU. I spent all my money on big league chew, and I have to wait till next week for my mom to give me my allowance. If you don't want to wait, I can pay you in pogs... LOL

that is pretty funny, but you DO have to realize there are stupid people that do send items sans ANY packaging. every time i see a thread like this I wonder how this world even functions with such a large percentage of imbuciles.

I've been pretty lucky lately. The stupidest question I get now is "How much for shipping to the US?" when it is clearly stated in the auciton.

I had one guy win an auction who decided that I should accept a trade rather then his money.

Another guy wanted me to wait 3 weeks before he could mail a money order. Another 10 day wait on top of the 3 weeks.

I had one today from a buyer in Indiana ( I live in Maryland).

In the paypal payment she left as her note:

"Please leave on doorstep."

Okay, I'll get right on that. LOL

I bought a new Sega Nomad on ebay as a $50 BIN. The seller had wrapped packing tape around the whole box and stuck a priority mail sticker on the front. I no longer feel stupid about asking sellers questions like that anymore.

Damn that sux. I guess the whole box was ruined then? I always mention to the seller to pack the game(s) good so they wont be damaged during shipping after some bad experience. Some guy sent me 2 boxed GBA games in a paperenvelope once. I dont remember if it was bubblewrap, but if so it was only 1 thin layer. Logicaly the boxes had damage when I recived them :(

Should have requested a refund due to shoddy packing by the seller.

That's bullcrap IMO.

My favourite is when you win an auction, send the money as per the invoice, and then the seller emails you and says, "Uh.. sorry, we're out of stock. Do you mind if we issue you a refund?" The item sold for way less than they expected, so they figure they can get out of the transaction by refunding everyone.

I also love shipping price gouging. UPS Express $20 USD, but then USPS air mail is $50 USD for a 1lb item?!

I miss the heady days of eBay when listing was free, and there was a real sense of community. But then again, there used to be no spam on the Internet, either ;)

Can you confirm this is Paper Mario 2? Your picture shows Paper Mario - Thousand Year Door - not Paper Mario 2.

Say what?????

Instant inflamatory negative feedback.
Stupid jerks.

If you pay with Paypal and they give you a refund you will lose money because of the fees Paypal takes to transfer the money to your bank account. Unless you want to add the money to your Paypal balance.

PayPal doesn't charge a fee on refunds if you do it the right way.
