I've been on the net, for just about a year now; and in to these forums
for way less than that. But the one thing I always see and the one thing
I always see (which I include myself in this) WHERE DO I FIND?-this or that.
I know that isn't always an easy question to answer. Even with sites like
this, and one I found through there links. Theoldcomputer.com the best
selection of NES roms anywhere and there homebrews (think all homebrews
are bad go check out sonic mario- YES SONIC MARIO) They are unbelieveable.
But others where do you find them such as:
APPLE 2
48k Spectrum
Jaguar
MSX
Neo geo pocket
Odyssey 2
SEGA CD
SEGA SG-1000/ 3000
as well as others....
Not only the Roms but the emulators as well
So I decided to create this forum as sort of a open forum
to tell those who don't know where to find what they
what they have been looking for. But remember this
forums rules no current stuff.
To what I found and like to pass along...
Jaugar roms can be found @
www.emumanics.com but wach out for the pop up ads
there plunty to be found there
As far as SG-1000/ 3000 roms some can be found on the
SMS page @
http://emularoms.virtualave.net/master.htm
There is a few there I admit you might not be able to tell what they are
until it is downloaded
If you found anything that might be of interest to somone
else please feel free to post it

Thought I post a few more...as a friend recently reminded me. My SMS
emulator went bad, where do I find an execellent one?
So Okay here it goes, the best SMS/SEGA Game Gear emulator I ever
found (For Windows PC). Is the CHASMS emulator. It supports
full screen, joystick controls and it even has a built in cheat device.
Which supports Game Action Replay codes(which can be found at
the link below). Games run normal speed and you can save your
game in progress anywhere, at any point in the game. Even if
that game has no built in save.
The CHASMS emulator is @ http://chasms.midgetrebellion.com
Game Action Replay codes and Game Genie codes can be found
at one of the best places on the web for game hints and tips
www.gamewinners.com
Also if you were like me looking for what used to be called the
Code Creators Club. For anyone who doesn't know, these are
a group of hackers who create both Game Genie and Game Shark
codes. Neither Galoob or Interact had ever created. Such as the
all cars availible for Ridge Racer on the Playstation 1. There link is:

Ever since I created this posting, I am forever amazed by the number
of views I get. So from now on from time to time when you see
my handle on the lastest post. It will mean that I have something
new to pass along to all of you that had visited here. But also as an
invatation to all of you if know of a site that may be of interest
please feel free to post it.
The first of these oddball sites is one you can not explain in just a few
words. For it is a site that you can not only download 200+
Commodore 64 games, but also view (yes, view) many game for
many many systems and computers. Few of which are downloadable.
http://piratesportal.cjb.net
The next one is when I tried to find out what in hell is the MSX is, to my
surprise it turned out to be a Japanese computer from 1983
Which I found out that information on a site that is dedicated to
old computers. Also where you can find out the stats on just about
any computer ever made.

iF YOU DO AND ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT?
Most of us are classic in fact classic game fans and that is the reason
I made this posting. But if your like me who rather site in front of a
console. Than a computer have I got some sites for you. The first
is the best they have many, many emulators that run on the Dreamcast
From the one for Apple II to the Z spectrum...as well for the 2600.
A site that is really worth checking out, even there homebrew page.
For what reason I will not say...you have to see that for yourself.
www.dcemulation.com
The other is also worth checking out
www.consolevision.com
Got MAME roms or those for the Neo Geo and want to run them on your DC
Have I got a site for you. There are so many MAME emulators you simply
would not believe
http://digita.mame.net/download.htm
But what good are emulators when you don't know what rom works which
with emulator. That can be found at this link.

With a special thanks to WISEMAN...
I finally know where to find SEGA CD roms.
But be warned there large, as they average 30 megs
www.the-underdogs.org
Also if your looking for Sega Master System and SEGA Game Gear roms
more than what this site has to offer. For reasons I rather not go in to;
Just go to the link page of this site and look for SMS Force
There listed as having Atari 2600 roms...but they also have THE LARGEST
SELECTION of SMS/GG roms to be found anywhere

Have I got one for you...
You might of heard rumours about a certain program, or someone might of said
they knew of its existance, but they don't know where to find it.
What I am talking about is a program that converts discjugglar files in to
nero files...and I found it.
It is located on a strictly DC site within its emulator pages. Just click on the link
found there and you will be there. But...the program is written in German.
With German text...but this site also carries an execellant translation,
which I can only suggest you read first or at least print out. Otherwise
it is like any standard windows program...therefore easy to follow.
www.dcevolution.com
If your in to DC and the T-16 the emulator found there has what calms
to be 90 roms included on there discjugglar filel

If you're looking for a utility to make Nero images out of Discjuggler images:
http://www.dcemulation.com/dl/dl.php3?url=files/needed/cdi2nero09b3_dao.zip
CDI2NERO
In English & works perfectly.

I still need a complete set of Sharp X68000 ROMs, because I'm nowhere near having them all. Does anyone know a place where I can get them? I've tried www.playagain.net but the downloads don't seem to work.

ManekiNeko you are right x68000 roms are all but impossible to find. But...
I found a site that has 4 and I've been checking ever since your posting
The rom site is:
http://download-a-saco-2k2.galeon.com/emus_y_roms.html
I seems the only sites that have anything are from Brasil, game titles are
in English but everything else is in Portuguese.
I also found a emulator site it is a bit clearer the the vg-network.com
site on what emulator works with what kind of computer you use
not to forget your OS
The emu site is:
http://akira.ucpei.tche.br/emuladoes/x68/
I hope this helps you

Classic or not most of us enjoy music from our video games. Thanks to
EGM I learned about a site where Video Game Music gets a new lease
on life by making the music in a word cool. I thought I like to pass it along, the site also contains direct links to other gaming music site. It is worth
checking out.
