saw this type of topic for the DS and thought about doing the same for the PSP. My favourite game for the psp this year would have to go to lumines. What can i say..fun, addicting, challenging, fun and addicting! :P . To bad PSp couldnt make any other games as good as this. whats ur favourite one so far?

Hot Shots Golf or Ridge Racer... for US releases.
Imports, I liked Bleach and Taiko as well.

Lumines and Hot Shots tie for best
the only other game i played for more than an hour was Sengoku Ace and i dont think its that good, i just wanted to make it seem as if i didnt throw $50 away

My favorite from the past year is definitely Taiko no Tatsujin Portable, though this is a game that really needs the drums controller for the best possible experience. The fact that a new song is downloadable every week now is an added bonus, and I really hope they keep up that service. I still have a long way to go with this game. I've only managed to perfect a few songs on hard, haven't dared to dabble in demon mode at all yet.
Trying to get a perfect in hard mode "Soul Calibur 2 - Brave Sword, Braver Soul" at the moment. Still have a few problems with getting through the really fast sequences, and the slightly loose feel of the shoulder buttons is an additional source of frusteration sometimes, but I should be getting the hang of it soon.

i didnt like untold legends. and hater Wipout Pure even more. never got a chance to play GTA yet i heard people saying you cant do as much stuff ass GTA3 of Vice city. Is this true?

Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories. Not perfect by any means, but *finally* a console game has been made playable on the go. It's pretty much identical to GTA3 and that's a damn good thing.

GTA:LCS is definitely one of the better psp games out there. This is the only GTA game i've played since GTA3.

Lumines just simply rocks. I haven't played too many PSP games yet, but Darkstalkers is my second choice.
I have played Untold Legends but wasn't too impressed with it. It seemed way too similar to Balder's Gate.

Hmm, Probably Ridge Racer or Tony Hawks underground 2.
PS Nobody buy Sengokou Ace Episode for full price.. Whoever made that game must have been a crack head LOL

Lumines is like crack. Most of the other games for the system just plain suck.

Another vote for Lumines here. I almost bought a PSP just so I could play Lumines whenever I wanted, but I think I'm going to wait until some RPGs are released in English before I do so.

Hmmmm.....you really know how to ask a question. I've played/ owned mostly everything on the PSP and there's a lot of goodness.
Hippest game definitely goes to Lumines, perfect "duplication of a console experience" goes to Burnout rather than GTA, most hours spent goes to Untold Legends, most pleasant surprise goes to MediEvil Resurrection.....
....favorite PSP game goes to Hot Shots Golf.

I'd have to say Hot Shots Golf. But then again, I've only played two other games (being Darkstalkers and Untold Legends).

having only owned 4 psp games, I would say lumines wins hands down. Its also the only psp game I have that has replayability, also one of the most addicting games ever made.

Legend of Heroes and Lumines are tops on my list. I haven't really played a ton of the rest of my PSP library yet....too hooked on those!

Lots of worthy stuff.
Wipeout has had so many content downloads you could consider it a whole new game.
Lumines, of course.
Burnout was great if you never played 3.
Hot Shots ate a lot of time.
SSX on Tour is completely different from the console version, and for the better. It's more like Tricky.
Untold Legends was great, even if by the end you just want to get it over with.
MLB is easily the best sports game.
Ridge Racer is probably the most technically impressive, though it's a close battle against Wipeout.
