call of duty 2 xbox 360 problems?

is anyone else having loading problems with this game? i am completely stuck in the game because whenever i try to load the levels im on it freezes, i looked at the bottom of my game, and its clean but there is a big almost strip of data in the middle that looks like it could belong there, i wanted to make sure it actully was supposed to be there, and see if anyone else is having this problem and what to do about it,

my friend's copy wouldn't load a map so he had to return it.sounds like you might have the same problem,just take the game back.

They say that some new factory fresh cd disk have some type of flim on it that sometimes makes it hard for the cds to be read. They recommend wipeing the disk but you will need to be careful not to scracth the disk.

I've finished the Russian and British campaigns with reloads and have experienced no problems.

I have had a few issues with the pc one. Sometimes mods from servers can carry into the single player.

im getting paranoid with all the stuff people are saying about systems being defective, does anyone think this might be a problem with my box and not the actual cd iteself? the map gets all the way loaded and freezes everything, that or it goes a little bit and gives me a error, im paranoid about my system giving me more problems down the road

Do you have any friends with another 360 to try it on? I know they're still pretty rare, but that would tell you if it's your disc or your box.

so i wasnt able to locate anyone else with a 360 but i was wondering could anyone look at there copy and see if there is a big almost line in the center of the disk it looks like it belongs there, but i really have no idea and i am still waiting for my store to get more in to be able to test this one out, otherwise when we get more 360's in i wanna return that to try to get one that will let me play the rest of the game becuase what i played was great and i need a fix!

so i finally got more into my work and exchanged it for another copy and this one works fine, so all my worrys have been put to rest, thanks everyone who helped out, stuipd broken game making me worry about my system!

I had similar problems with Condemnded. Then i realized there was crap embedded in the disc. Nasty.
