I'm interested in your opinion. I sold my gem mint River Patrol a year and a half ago on eBay... it went for $425 which I was amazed it commanded, but I think it was hands down one of the best I had ever seen.
Anyway, come to find out I had the manual sitting in an atari age catalog and the sucker is pristine mint. I mean perfect out of the box mint. There are in my humble opinion fewer of these around than the carts themselves, and from what my Atari geeks are telling me they would give what I think is crazy amounts in trade/cash for this thing.
My question for you is, what is the most you'd pay for a manual? If it was one of these super rare games and was in mint condition, would you consider buying it?
Just curious because as a collector, I'm not sure what I'd give up for a manual to complete a game or two in my collection, especially for a River Patrol.
What do you think?
Peace through gaming,
