Hello! Just wondering if anyone out there knows if any video-games that came with coin(s) or token(s) that resembled and were meant to be "used" (or saved as a trinket, keepsake; sometimes they were referred to as "feelies") as actual money. I know of a couple of examples: Zork Trilogy came with the Zorkmid coin. Ultima I (1986 version) came with 3 different coins. The Star Wars CD-Rom and a couple of its Monopoly games also came with actual collectible "coins". Thanks! Erik

I believe Suikoden III...or was it IV...had a coin as a sort of mail-in freebie.

I'm a bit at a loss right now, but I know a number of games, especially RPGs, like to put in coins as they sport relatively high bling + greed : cost ratio benefits LOL

It was Suikoden 4. The coin was a 'copy' of the ones used in the game and it was the first of three prizes you could get from Konami from entering the codes. Higher prices were a soundtrack CD (selected music from all four games) and a wall scroll.

Quarterstaff (Infocom) had a coin.

And of course, the original Odyssey has loads of paper money, does that count?

Thanks for your replies!!
I do have the Quarterstaff wooden coin (I forgot to mention that one; it's not a coin per-se, since its main use is to decipher some codes, rather than to be used in commercial "transactions").
I'm leaving out paper-money from my collection- I've never collected banknotes, so that's outside my purview. Just coins.
Ed Oscuro: if you can recall any other games, especially the RPGs you mentioned (that like to put in coins), please write an update reply. I'm already working on getting that Suikoden coin, I realllyyy appreciate it!!!
