I dont think Nintnedo is going to mess around. They know that the future of their home console market depends on it. Look for them to deliver at this next E3.

We could do without the ***********s screwing up the page layout.

But anyways, how is this news?

Agreed. I wish more people would use the preview button before the post. Having to scroll horizontally because someone was too lazy to use a [url] tag really sucks.

I wish phpBB would automatically force junk like this to wrap rather than mess things up.

In my opinion, I think this might not be the best move for Nintendo. With the xbox 360 already launched, and the ps3 due out this spring, dont you think E3 might be a little late?

If the parade of details on the 'Revolution' are announced in May, Nintendo would most likely launch the system by the Holiday shopping season. The xbox 360 will already have a steady library of games by then. The PS3 will be on a roll. It just seems really late in the next gen wars to launch.

Meh, just my 2 pennies.

There is no set date or anything for a PS3 release. E3 is when Sony and Nintendo are both going to go all out.

'code-named Revolution' so, Rev isn't the final name then? I was under the impression that it was.

Yeah, I think they should just use the 'code name'.

Im sorry, I just thought I read somewhere that the ps3 was slated for a early spring release.

AAAAAARG!!!! Who cares?! It’s 6 months away! That’s not news, that’s mental masturbation!

“Coming October of 2013…….PS4!!!!!!!!”

It’s November of 2005, May 2006 is a long way off and there’s no way in hell I’m going to get excited about it this early.

Nintendo can eat my balls.

We could have said the same thing before LAST year's E3. That E3 they only gave us a cool looking case, and promised us Zelda would be in our hands by November. I'm seriously losing faith the the ol' N. I love their systems, I love their games, but I don't think they realize their sturdy, reliable Volkswagon of a company has been passed by two shiny red Ferraris. Slapping some new rims on the Volkswagon doesn't mean it can suddenly compete with the Ferraris.

Bah, so they push a game back, big deal. Remember the N64 Zelda:Oot? They pushed it back and back, and most everyone now says it was great that they did. If you wanna lose faith then lose faith in milled out rushed games with red paint jobs and spinnaz.

Its not that they pushed a single game back. If you look at their history, its just been one big "we won't screw up THIS time, we promise" since the days of the SNES. Its an old song we've heard over and over with the N64, the GC, and now we're getting the same story with the Rev. See a pattern? I'll buy a Rev. But I'm not expecting much, and I hope I'm wrong, but I've been through this before with Nintendo.

Nintendo's been doing that since 1985. Remember the mess with the SNES launch? Arrives 2 years late & already losing to Genesis.
