[Atari 7800] Ballblazer end-label variation.

It might not occur to some, but Ballblazer for the 7800 has an even scarcer mis-printed endlabel. The version I have is a red label, as opposed to the standard silver ones found on all other cartridges.

The red end label isn't all that rare, despite what AA may say. I'd go so far as to say the ratio of red to silver could even be as high as 50-50.

AA quotes the rarity of the red end-label variant as a 3. That hardly classifies as 'rare'...

I actually own the red label Ballblazer 7800 myself (PAL version), just happens to be the one I got when I bought a sealed copy years ago.

NightSprinter isn't gonna stop until one of the guides acknowledges this as a genuine R10 so he can then promptly resell for hundreds of dollars. :P


I kind of agree with Dr. Morbis on the ratio thing, probably equally common labels. I think the one I own right now is red.

I think I've seen nothing but red-end label Ballblazers.

Hell for a while I didn't even know it came in silver, until I checked online. Maybe it's a regional distribution thing.

Going through my 7800 collection today, I noticed that my Ballblazer is the red end label version. Even though it is the harder to find of the two, I almost wish I had the regular silver label so that it would be more uniform with my other 7800 carts. Anyone want to trade? :D
