Alright, I'm an idiot but...

1. What is the cheapest way to ship VG's and consoles with confirmation that Paypal accepts?

2. What does paypal accept as proof? The receipt with tracking info?

3. Do you guys ship Media Mail anyway at times and just risk it?

4. I have a confimed PP account. What do I need to do to get it ready to accept payments from auctions?

1. What is the cheapest way to ship VG's and consoles with confirmation that Paypal accepts?
-Probably regular 'ol First Class Mail

2. What does paypal accept as proof? The receipt with tracking info?
-Recipt means nothing, you need tracking number NOTE: If you just buy insurance, the insurance number acts as delivery confirmation.

3. Do you guys ship Media Mail anyway at times and just risk it?
-Yes, although video games are not supposed to be allowed to go media mail. Low cost items I ship as cheaply as possible, often w/o confirmation. I got burnt a couple tiles, but only for like $4-$6.

4. I have a confimed PP account. What do I need to do to get it ready to accept payments from auctions?
-You're all set! Just add your PayPal address to the auction where the template asks for it.

I've found that the post office has better rates from smaller items such as a game or two but UPS has better rates for larges things such as a console. We're only talking a couple of dollars difference for a 15 or so pound package but every dollar counts I suppose. I'm don't know how Fedex compares cause I've never used them.

ON bigger things I've found Fed Ex to be cheaper than the post office and UPS, plus you automatically get $100 insurance on anything you ship, and a tracking number.

Any of you ever use parcel post? My shipping guy says you can get confirmation and it's the cheapest method.

UPS also gives $100 insurance and tracking. Anything expensive, I'd send through UPS... they've lost two packages in the five years that I've been seriously buying/selling... both times an insurance check arrived within a month.

Post office? Hahahahahahahahah. Like I'm ever gonna see money from them.

If you just buy insurance, the insurance number acts as delivery confirmation.
Is insurance cheaper than DC? Is there a min insurance amount of $50 for delivery confirmation?

Can I give neg feedback to a buyer who claims "did not receive package" when DC says he did? I think he's a scammer & deserves a Neg.

If you use USPS for consoles keep in mind that you can use their boxes and dont have to buy one which is a money saver to the seller that is overlooked way too often.

DC costs less than insurance on USPS shipments.

For loose carts, I just used USPS First class. It costs 1.06 or something to pretty much anywhere in the US. So it's pretty damn cheap.

For consoles so far I've used Parcel post, with delivery confirmation because I dont wanna get screwed. For a regular NES system it cost me like 8 dollars to ship, and for a snes it cost about 7 something. So it's not that bad to ship consoles through USPS. And really Priority mail isn't that much more expensive than Parcel post, from my experience.

Paypal only accepts services that have online, public tracking - i.e. that anyone can take the tracking number and enter it on the website and see the status of the item.

So I am guessing regular ol' first class probabyl won't suffice in that case.

It's a bitch, but trust me, if someone submits a claim against you and there isn't public online tracking for the item, then they will automatically take the money back out of your account.

No problem here, as USPS has online public tracking -- anyone can do it as long as they have the number.
