from the nintendogs tour, Go her the funny thing is that she only put 1 entry in whereas my friend and i put in several. Should come in 2 to 4 weeks so i will post pics as soon as it comes.

Is the one on ebay the real deal or a homemade one? How can you tell. Some glue and some sparkles you are all set.

I was thinking the same thing...that design looks like something anyone with a glue gun and some shiny beads could make.

The design of that DS is very sloppy. It looks like a pre-teen girl went crazy with a DS, sequins and a glue gun. Not professional at all if its for real.

anyways, congrats to your girlfriend on winning that, but personally i would'nt really want it.
The outside of this DS is covered with dazzling diamond colored rhinestones
yeah. big frickin whoop. some spraypaint, plastic gemstones, and some superglue and i could make one of those.
but uh.. congrats! :roll:

This reminds me of those horrendous "Bling It On" commercials.
"I made my laptop sing when I added the bling!"
That's literally all it is: those sheets of rhinestones that you can stick on anything to make it bling (again with the lame ass rhyming! Gah!) I mean, the Nintendog paw takes a liiittle bit more artistc skill, but honestly, it's still nothing special. The fact that it's half pink/half white is unique.
But look on the bright side, your girlfriend can make a huge profit because if you put this on eBay SOMEONE will pay a nice sum for it, and since she won it and got it free, it would be ALL PROFIT! So lucky her!
That look so horrible it's kind of cool! How many of these DS's are there ?

i think they said 11 but im not sure. probably wont ebay it cause im collecting ds games so its a nice bonus.

there's a lot more than 11 of them...
i'm pretty sure that one was given away from every city that the nintendogs tour stopped in... though i could be wrong about that...
but i do know for sure that they sell this at the nintendo world store in new york for $600. it's not contest exclusive. and i wouldn't be surprised if NYC girl, the company that made it (that's their name, right?) is also selling them out of their own retail supplies.
the one that was just recently on ebay sold (on it's second try) for $300.
