View Full Version : Anybody able to grab a 360 since the launch date?

Supposedly, Microsoft is putting out new consoles every week. Being over one week from launch, there should be new systems available. Anybody able to get one? I checked on my pre-order that got bumped to "2nd shipment with a 5-7 day wait," being that its been 5-7 days... and now I'm hearing I MAY get it before Christmas. I'm definitely glad I camped out for a system on launch day now. It doesn't appear that the promise by MS to resupply every week is going to actually materialize--but, in all fairness I guess its only been a week. I'm just wondering if anybody else has come across a console, and which retailers will be getting them.

Nope.

I can't even find the core package around here. There are plenty of games though! When I went in to ask if my local Gamestop had any in, the manager laughed and said, " Sorry, were not getting anymore in until Febuary or March." I find that really hard to believe.

That lying son of a bitch...

Maybe what he really meant was "after we fill all of the pre orders it will be March before we have any for straight up sales"?

Because thats about where my store falls @_@ We will be lucky if we have any "extra" 360's for sale until Feb at the earliest :/

Good thing I am on like the second shipment. :roll:

Since the release date, I have neither seen, nor has anyone in the local game circle been able to get another 360.

I have a friend who works at Best Buy. He said they aren't getting anymore in at their store until sometime in January. He also said he went to GameStop and the guy their told him the same thing.

You'd think Microsoft would have made enough Xbox 360 units to go around. Why they are waiting till AFTER Christmas to ship more systems is beyond me. They are going to be missing out on some huge holiday sales.
