Wow, so I just discovered one of my favorite games of this generation, is finally coming out in english! Not in NA but in EU of course!
Anyways I'm just wodnering if anyone can tell me anything about this, why they decided to bring it over and such, plus if there are any rumours of an NA release.
Also I'd like to know if PAL ps2 games will be able to play on a NTSC PS2.

This is in the wrong forum, also though to answer your question. Without a mod chip it won't work.

I'm a big fan of the Hajime No Ippo boxing games and I'm glad you guys are getting this one!

Oh, whoops sorry, I'm just used to the general video gaming forum. Also I use swap discs, and it works for JPN games will that not work for EU region games?

Anyways could a mod please move this to the Modern Gaming forum.

Well, depending on your tv you'll probably have issues with 50hz as opposed to the 60hz that NTSC works on. I have one tv that doesn't work with 50hz and one that does work but the picture isn't centered correctly, so might work might not, usually not though.

He could always use a ntsc patch. Hopefully the game has a 60 mhz select or at least screen centering options.
