My collection goals for the next 6 or so months!

Well, I have decided to take this in steps, I was looking over all of my complete Genesis games yesterday, and thought of an idea.

Instead of diving headfirst into trying to get all the Genesis games complete (which is something I plan on doing eventually), I want to take it in steps, or more like, genres.

I plan on getting all of the Genesis sports games first (they will be mega easy to get), then moving to action, then fighting ect. This way, I can keep everything organized and all. Well thanks for letting me share my plans, and feel free to add in your 2 cents. :D

How about first going for the FUN games instead of the sports games? You might enjoy that better.
Especially if you decided not to geta complete genesis collection, for whatever reason. At that moment you'll have fun games instead of sports games. Which pretty much all suck for older consoles.

this is exactly what i am doing :) you can also collect game series

right now i am collecting
- all pal and jap rpgs for the snes/sfc (i know, MANY)
- all sega32x games (not a hard job, but i got my 32x 6 days ago or so ;)
- all zelda games (not too hard, but i do include game&watch, cd-i....)

the next things i will collect are
- all final fantasies
- all strategy sfc/snes games
- all mega man games
- all turtles games
- all mega-cd games

Current Goals:

Atari 2600:
-Any Activision, I-Magic and other random 2600 titles (dunno excatly the others, I know Adventure definitly).

Dreamcast:
- Any and all I can find- nothing specific yet.

NES:
- Any I can find to enjoy playing and collecting.
- Tengen NES titles.
- All Dragon Warrior titles (Will need new DW1 after trade)
- All Mega Man games (Have 1 and 4 now, trade for 2)

Other:
- All Final Fantasy titles (have almost all PSX titles except Tactics, need 1-3).
- NES black game sleeves.

I am trying to get all the Dreamcast games that I can get right now. :)

Uncover a few more NES titles to cap off at around 55-60 total, some black dust sleeves, then I'll be done with that..

Of course, I aim to increase the T-16 library and a few more Genesis, SMS and 32x titles.

In all, probably about 20 more games and anything else will become a casual acquisition. 8-)

Goals for the next six months for me include:

Getting my hands on Diner and Truckin' complete for INTV, ahh who am i kidding, Id take the cart only.. ;)

Also to boost up my 3do and TG16 collections.

I figure my best bet to do so is via Ebay, sigh, but thats where I wanna be in 6 months.

my goals are as follows.

Getting the rest of the Capcom Nes and Snes and Gensis games

I only need, Ducktales 2, Rescue rangers 2, snow brothers, and megaman 5.
On SNES i need Captain commando, Breath of fire 2 and megaman 7.
And on Genisis i need Chiki Chiki Boys (?).

I would also like to finish DC, but those still go for alot, so i'm doing the cheaper systems first.

I would really like to get a Turbo Graphics and a Sega CD, and a Jauguer (or however it spelled, i don't care).

Thats really it for me.
And to Kaine, good luck finding Mega Man 5, i can get a six very easly depending on how much you want to pay.
