I haven't played Mario Mix, but I personally enjoyed the Disney Mix.

I like Disney characters. Loved Kingdom Hearts. And curious to see myself if DDR sucks.


Back to my question - Is Mario DDR great, good, mediocre or lousy game?

I *almost* did just that. Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was strange that he declared the game as sucking and then wanted to buy it less than an hour later.

99% of the time - if gamers say a game sucks - they're right. Maybe you think it's foolish - but can't afford to buy every game. I rely on other people.


Has no one played their Mario DDR? Did you enjoy it? Hate it? Why or why not?

I've played a little bit of it. I enjoyed it, but if you're hardcore into DDR, it might be too easy for you.

keeping th esealed one SEALED.... i'll find a used one soon enuf after xmas in the spring when some kid dumps ALL of th egamecube titles, etc... to trade in toward a REVOLUTION...

then i will have one to mash upon like a beached whale... and one to look pretty pretty at (precious, my precious)...in its' pretty new box.... (gollem, gollem)..

Actually, it plays the music for it too which I would think would be the main selling point for the game (as DDR is roughly the same between versions). I didn't see anything in his post that slams the PS2.

I can only speak as aperson that has never played DDR before. I love the game I like the Nintendo music and I enjoy the story and graphics. (alright so the story is lame and the graphics aren't all that good but at least they tried) I have a feeling it is going to be a little on the short side for me, but that's alright I have a good time playing with my girl anyway.

Oh yeah! Wasn't wearing my headphones. It sounds "disco-fied". LOL Actually rather annoying. Sounds like noise - not music. Any other places have the Mario DDR music?

Here's why think Xizer should rename himself PS2-Hater
The PS2 controller sucks. Any game released for the system will instantly have shitty controls.
The PS2 version sucks. It looks and plays like shit, with worse graphics, a terrible control scheme.
All Sony does is make a system and whore it out to casual gamers, they don't even develop many games
Sony is the one who deserves a $ sign - with their constant shitting out consoles
What? The PS2 did suck ass.
The PS2 sucked cock, just like the PS1.

The PS3 will suck.

Haven't bought this game, but played it while wasting time at the local Game Crazy (out of school for the weekend, and my swarm of psychotic pups had a vet appointment, so while my mom was wrangling Chihuahua-Pomeranian hybrids, I was fiddling with the demo games and checking out the 3/$15 sale). I like it, especially since the Mario tunes are destined to be stuck in the heads of this generation... it's still somewhat available in my area, as most of the people here are not Gamecube owners. Oh well, their loss is my gain.

I'd say buy it if you've got the room.
