I wish. You'll know when they'll start taking preorders though. Like, before they even let you preorder.

Can you preorder the PS3 anywhere yet? After the failures to meet the Xbox 360 preorders, you ask that question? :hmm: LOL Man, I shall NEVER preorder a newly-released game system ever. It seems like every recent console release has been met with delays, shortages, and hardware bugs.

Yeah considering my last pre-order bullshit. I'm just going to wait outside again.

Don't preorder a console unless you preorder like, the first week you can preorder the console.
Otherwise, you're not getting it at launch.
Pretty lame.

Yeah, like my 2nd week pre-order of the 360 back in june that didn't work out for me, but sitting outside in the cold has yet to let me down.

Alot of you guys are saying that you will never pre-order again, but I'm the absolute opposite. I will never NOT pre-order again.
With me, it started with the Playstation 2. I didn't pre-order it, and the only way I ended up getting one was spending the night outside a Target store in rain and extreme wind chill. I practically got pneumonia from that one!
So since then, I've decided that I'm never going through that again, and I pre-order my consoles the second they start taking pre-orders. The key is to be among the first 5 people that pre-order at that particular location, and make sure you choose a location that does alot of business, as they are going to be much more likely to receive a larger number of launch units.
With the PS3 and Revolution, it's going to be the same thing. I will have to pre-order both of those systems as soon as pre-orders are being taken. Cause you know damn well there will be shortages whether they are real or staged.

FYE is taking pre-orders for PS3. be wary though, when it arrives, they may force you to purchase as a bundle (REQUIRED to buy 2 games with xb360, for instance).

Me too. I'd love to be playing a 360 right now but there's no way I was going to line-up for it. Pre-ordering software is ridiculous (when was the last time you saw a shortage of a major new title? Mario DDR doesn't count). But with the demand new systems are launching with I'm going to pre-order ASAP.

One of my EB stores was making a call list for PS3 preorders. That' right. They'll call you to come and place a preorder. I haven't seen the list in their the last 10 times I've been in there though.
Oh yeah, here's a thought.
'I will never again only place one preorder, I will try for 10. Ebay will make me rich...'

I have never pre-ordered a system in my life and probably never will, to much hassle and I am just happy with my current-gen. systems
I can wait a little while to get the new systems after all the bugs and glitches are gone, and price down :D

When I was younger I loved being the first to have the newest game. I raced to be the first to buy it (paper routr), I raced to be the first to beat it. As the gaming scene has grown I stopped being first, instead 12 people got the game at the same time, it wasn't as fun.
After the 16 bit generation I watched the Playstation, the N64, the Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube go released without jumping on too soon. I really missed the boat with the PSone. Only bought one a couple years ago and still have only played a handful of games (as opposed to having a complete N64 collection).
For some reason or other I just decided I wanted to be first this time around (I had a little more cash to play with also, helps make this an easier decision).
Bottom line: Don't need to be first every time, just when I want too...

I won't pre-order a PS3, but I will most likely do so for the Revolution since it doesn't seem like it will be in as high demand as the other two, it will be cheaper, and Nintendo systems are durable.

I have never pre ordered a system and don't think I will in the future. I like to wait a bit.
