I got a Sega Saturn and since 2003, I had a Sonic R game for the Saturn. I tried putting that and NBA Jam TE for the Saturn in the drive, but the games won't play. Sometimes it reads Sonic R. Most of the time, it doesn't. The message says "Disc unsuitable for this system." Sometimes, I insert a game and says "Drive Empty." Why is this happenning? Is there something wrong with the hardware or software? I tried playing Sonic R, but it won't even run. :(

What happens? Blank screen? or something else? A little more info would be helpful.

Specifically pertaining to NBA Jam TE, I have had two pristine copies of this game give me problems. I think there may of been some pressing error when the game was made because one copy I have is the only game out of 60+ I own that doens't work at all on my saturn and the other works about 50% of the time. Perhaps it is something to do with the fact I have a late model saturn and it was an early game, I don't know. When it boots it works fine though! Sonic R is another story, haven't tried that one yet.
