Im currently trying to complete my collection of US Gamecube demos and kiosk discs. If anyone had a list, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if anyone has anyone has any other Gamecube collectors resources, care to share?

gamecube isn't like ps2, which has demos all over the place... there's not many gamecube demos outside of the regular kiosk discs...

metroid prime 2...
soul calibur 2...
rebel strike...

is that it? that's all i can come up with off the top of my head.

I know there is some type of zelda promo or demo disk out there. There are about 30 or so kiosk discs. I would just like to have a list to go by.

I saw vol. 33 Kisok the other day, still sitting in the back room at my store. I wonder what's on it. What's sad is most of the GameCrazy stores around here ignore and hate the Gamecube to death. (Pretty much explains why they shove all the Cube games in the back of the store :()

I'd reccomend talking to Mayhem. He's got a really good list going for the US demos and kiosk material out there.

Me, a list? Erm... okay... scribble scribble...! ;)

Nah I've not put one together, but I have been very active in trying to collect game demo discs for the Cube from all parts of the world.

Soul Calibur II, Rebel Strike, Metroid Prime 2 and the multigame demo disc given with new Cubes back in 2003 are all I can think of US wise. Silly thing is, there are more UK demo discs I think than US ones!

I'm not after the kiosk discs, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab some Japanese ones last year so I have those in my collection.

That's a Japanese disc... we were only talking about US ones here. Anyhow, it isn't that hard to find, it was plastered all over eBay a few months back for example. Like tens of copies. Despite being only available originally to Club Nintendo members, I think someone let loose the rest of them at some point.

I forgot about RE4 demo, so add that for the US list too.

ai'll go see what Us stuff I can find I thought I saw something earlier that might be interesting.

Does the disc on the left in this auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8240209972&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1) look like a normal Oct 2001 (demo/kiosk) disc insert? I think it's odd that they would call it a "Test Disc", but I don't have my Oct 2001 Kiosk disc in front of me, so I'm trying to figure out where that insert came from. It looks like a photocopy, but I thought pretty much all the kiosk discs had the same inserts (well, white vs black, but otherwise), so I'm not sure where that insert came from. The disc itself doesn't say "Test" on it anywhere that I saw...

I know there is some type of zelda promo or demo disk out there. Are you talking about the two collection discs?
I wouldn't consider those demo discs, since they have full games on them, although the second one has a WW demo on it as well.
If there's another Zelda disc out there, I'd be very interested in getting my hands on it.

There's a Pokemon demo disc out there as well, you got it for preordering Pokemon Colloseum I think.

Hrm, there's two possibilities. One, it's just a standard demo disc with a funky homemade cover. Or two, could it be possible Nintendo made a "test disc" to test out broken system, much like it did for it's cart based systems?

In either case, weird.

I don't know if there is a pokemon demo disk out there, But you've got it wrong, if there is one.

The disc that came with PKMN Colussem (If you preordered PKMN Colusseum) was a disc that basically allowed you to download a pokemon onto your copy of PKMN Ruby or Sapphire. Don't know if it works with Emerald, though.

I mentioned RE4 demo above ;)

And yes, the bonus disc for Pokemon Colleseum has no demo of the game on it...

Yeah, it's odd. There's even an instruction page -- again, photocopied -- inside the case, but it's the plain-jane Oct 2001 demo disc. My best guess is that some store or chain of put it together. But why they call it a test disc is beyond me.
