Very happy with my finds today. I'm getting to the point in my NES collecting that I can't find games very often. Today I was able to find 4 that I needed:

Indy Heat
Arkistas Ring
Chessmaster
Trick Shooting

I'm very close to reaching the "Final 100" mark 8-)

Tetris $4.00
The vendor had a PS2 and Xbox systems for $130.00 each..and a PS LCD screen in the box for $80.00

PS games $1.00 each.
The lady had a stack of loose disc PS titles for 50 cent to $1.00 each but they were to scratched up.

Sealed N64 games FREE from vendor I bought Atari stuff from..as a gift.
Saturn Daytona USA CCE $5.00(because it's not in my collection)

someone in another forum always calls them Crime Convertors.
They are pretty bad when it comes to games. They have stacks of beat up consoles, some of them so horrible looking you would have to pay me to take it away, and hundreds of copies of the same games - for example ChuChuRocket, like McBacon got

Pinball (NES) - $3 loose

And something groovy I found for a friend that I can't post here cause he might read it. :D

Haven't found anything...yet...

anyway's, here's how my day's been so far:

I went to the bank to get some cash. Apparently I needed some sort of signature, so no money for me (I eventually got some help from a friend :embarrassed:).

Then, I went to my local Video Game X-change to get some items on my list. They had NONE of them; no NES sleeves, no games, no manuals. Zip. Ziltch. Nada. Nil. Heck, I even forgot to ask for a job registration (the guy there is really nice, it's just that he dresses like a moron, and he already got first-picks of all the good stuff :frustrated:).

So now, I'm at home; all of us to lazy to even get our fat-@sses off the couch.

On the bright side, I got a MAD magazine (which already has a big rip in it) that has a fairly decent "Kameo: Elements of Power" poster in it, so at least that's something :)

Plus, I get to Interveiw my dad (he used to work for a small-time arcade game & jukebox distributor, so he got to fool-around with a couple of game ROM's from time-to-time :D :D :D.)

If you think that's good, listen to this:

One of my uncle's had brain damage last year, so, probably for that reason, he buys all of these B, no, more like D-rated movies. Sometimes, he finds some seven to fifteen DVD's that he doesn't like (some NOT EVEN OPENED), and dumps them off on me. Needless to say, unless I actually find a good movie among the endless piles of returned Blockbuster videos such as "Daredevil" or "Volcano", I trade them all in for cash/store credit :D.

[Remember kids, double-posts are the living embodiment of everything evil, so don't do it :)]

The reason why i was surprised about cash conveters in the UK was because there are also outlets in Singapore (where i'm from). Over there i managed to pick up some pretty awesome deals such as a sealed Tobal no.1 (Jap), and sealed Gunner's Heaven (aka Rapid Reload in the UK) for 2 pounds each.
I do agree with the beat-up consoles though, and i only buy them if i need spare parts for repairs.

Discland in Bloomington is having a 20% sale this weekend- actually, it began Thursday, but the discount was only available for those who got coupons in the mail. Starting Friday it was open to everyone. I got (prices before discount)-

Dreamcast fishing controller $15 (this is AWESOME w/ Sega Marine Fishing. I envision the whole family getting into it at Xmas!)

Treasures of the Deep (PS) $10

Treasures of the Deep strat. guide- $5
Project EDEN strat. guide $5

You'd think I'd have scored lots more stuff, but honestly, there wasnt much I wanted. HUGE selection for most systems, though. & the nearly all-female staff is very (almost overly) helpful! 8-)

ok well i think its 37... something like that.

there was a guy at the flea market today who litterly had a van full of video games... he had them all in those tubs with lids so i couldent look at them all... wasent really interested since he seemed to know what he was talking about, im only interesting in cheap game stuff. all of them have all the cd's/dvd's and instructions except one and about 6 cases are cracked on the ps1 games, all the ps2 games seem to be complete in box and most all of them hardly have scratches if any.

Amazing Day today.

I went to the swapmeet and talked to the guy I usually buy from and he is going on vacation and needs spending money. He tells me he has a Neo Geo AES system for sale with a few games.

All Complete:

Fatal Fury 2
Samurai Showdown
Samurai Showdown 3
Football frenzy
World Heroes
Super Baseball 2020

System, Joystick, Memory Card and AC adaptor. No TV hookups though
:(

Got it all for $100 :D

Also said he had an atari printer in the box, I cant find this anywhere in the DB. He also has a turbo express he is holding for me. Anyone know the value of the printer?

This week is so weird man. I havent seen AES games in 10 years and on Thursday I get 2 AES games at goodwill for $6 each (Fatul Fury and World Heroes 2) and 2 days later I have a system with 6 games. Weird. I guess it was just my time....lol

Went thrifting today after a long time of taking a break:

Value Village

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/hellvin/saturday001.jpg

Intellivision - Ice Trek (complete)
Intellivision - Nova Blast (complete)
Intellivision - Thunder Castle (complete)
Intellivision - Tron Maze-A-Tron (complete)

They had an Intellivison I & III for 8 bucks each, and a 2600 Vader with a ton of hookups for 6, but I passed as I already have way too many systems to know what to do with. Might reconsider the Vader, but that depends if i fall asleep after work or not.

Saver's

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/hellvin/saturday002.jpg

NES - Bonk's Adventure (loose) - 1.99 Yahoo!
NES - TMNT: Manhattan Project (loose) - 1.99

Bonk's label is coming off a slight bit, gotta glue that down.

Found a few sealed McDonalds toys of Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, not sure what they are really, but for .25 each, I couldn't pass em up. This has been a horribly slow "finds" weekend for me, although I did pick up an old school transformer for a buck @ the same thrift

Jesus christ, I'd offer you more than $80 for all the non-GH PS2 games alone (but nowhere near what you'd pull on ebay :( ). You could probably get ~$150-$200 for those.

edit - oh, and while wandering through a random thrift store, i picked up two toaster NES decks ($5 a pop) sans cables of any sort. They look a bit beat up, but I bought them with the intention of cleaning them up, maybe popping in a new connector, and then giving them away.

Awesome stuff!
A lot of people seem to be scoring on the Neo Geo recently. Great price you paid there, especially with all those games.
