In various discussions, the topic often arises as to some good sources to obtain professionally refurbished and modded original front loading NES console gaming systems. I have realized that there is no authoritative listing of reliable retailers, so I wanted to compile a list of sellers that professionally refurbish and mod the original front loading NES, so as to clean, fix, and repair/replace the 72-pin connector, as well as modify the system so as to disable the lockout chip. I realize that there are sellers on Ebay, but I wanted to compile a list of trusted retailers, who reliably refurbish, mod, and test the original NES into perfectly working condition.

Therefore, NES fans the world over would greatly appreciate it if sellers and buyers would chip in and provide references for such reliable retailers. Buyers, please let me know of any sellers Ebay, independent retailer, or whatever, that you have dealt with that can provide the above item. Sellers, if you are convinced that you can reliably sell the aforementioned item, then, please post your store's reference here.

Also, I am mainly interested in sellers that offer a complete package, as opposed to a service. A "complete" package contains at least a system, controller, power adapter, and AV cables. The system must be refurbished and modded as described above. The 72-pin connector must be in perfectly working condition, though it does not necessarily have to be new/replaced. It should work without trouble (no blowing, cart whiping, etc), when a clean game cart is played on the system.

Note that the intent of this list is to be authoritative, and passed around in a grass roots manner, so as to help revive interest in the NES by getting as many perfectly working classic NES systems into gamers' hands. Reviews, ratings, and comments will be taken into consideration in the listing, so as to only list the best.
