Wow. Another game thought would be crap - it's quite fun! It has Roboton control - one stick controls your man - the other controls your firing. Old-school gaming!
And the voice acting from Bruce Willis is funny. "Here take some of this - and that - and you too!" hahahahaha!
Flaws - No game is perfect. The flaw is the areas are too dark. Makes it hard to see where you're going. And it get a little tedious after a while. Like Devil May Cry was.
Still. Well worth the $8.00 purchase price.

The voice acting was great until I realized that he usually says the four five phrases about as many times per minute. Actually, during the beginning of the caves, I ran into a bug where he started saying the same line over and over for a while. Actually, I felt his voice acting was just fine - what was pretty much just wholly bad were the other voice actors, at least the one for grunts.
But that obviously doesn't dictate the quality of the game, which I finally bought this year after having played the demo back in...oh man, it was on the sampler disc with my PlayStation, I think. Long time ago.
I gave up at a certain place where you have to stay on top of a platform throughout what seems like the whole level. Nasty.
There are some spots where you can see movie clips playing on billboard "movie screens" - in real time! Very amazing and such, considering what a time the PSX has with simple polygons. The band might be out of business, but the music wasn't horrible, either.
Overall the game did pretty well on some fronts but still was missing some elements. I didn't feel there was much strategy to the powerup weapons and most of the time you can get away sniping with the default gun from long range. At the same time, the game's auto-aim and camera were almost always great (there's always an exception with the camera), and the control scheme is very intuitive.
An interesting bit - the game originally was to have Willis as your sidekick, but as the sidekick never really worked like they wanted him to (and besides, people wanted Bruce to be the main character) they scrapped it. Maybe they could bring the idea back.
Worth every cent of the $2 or so I paid for it, easily.

Yeah neat. 'Course Final Fantasy 7 is constantly playing movies as full backgrounds - much much more impressive technically.
The game is rather short. Almost beat it in only two evenings of play - at least it's replayable - easy/normal/hard modes!
