They link to two very informative threads that discuss the various types of devices that can be connected to the Super Wild Card DX2. Earlier Super Wild Card copiers do not support these drives, only the DX2 supports them.
So in short, yes the SWCDX2 supports a specific kind of Zip drives. In fact, it supports many other SCSI drives as long as they are attached through a PPA SCSI-to-parallelport chipset. So you can connect a 100MB parallel Zip drive, a 250MB SCSI Zip drive via the Jaz Traveller adapter, or even 1GB Jaz drives!
I personally opt for the DX2's other drive support, which is IDE drives connected via the Kingbyte IDE-to-parallel chipset. I have a really nice SNES setup with a compact flash card drive under the SNES, which is plugged into the SNES via the DX2. Compact flash cards are small, silent, low power, low heat, and they come in a variety of capacities. The DX2 can only support up to 2GB maximum sized cards though. But a 2GB card can fit almost every SNES game. The entire setup looks something like Nintendo's 64DD drive for the N64, but with a SNES ontop and much smaller cards inserted into a much smaller drive slot resting under the SNES. I wish I had a digital camera, as it is a nice and polished way to play SNES games on a real SNES with real SNES controllers on a big TV while sitting on your comfy couch.

I got a 100mb zip drive for my SWC DX2 a while back under the impression that it'd be more convenient, but due to the lackluster interface and slow read times it really just proved too clunky to really be useful. I ended up sticking with the RS-232 directly to the PC and using ucon64 to transfer the games to it.
Just my own personal experience. *shrug*
