The owner said that the previous owner only played it once and then sold it to him. I'd have to assume that it was stolen becuase who in their right mind would sell a 360 that they could have only had for a week or so to a pwn shop when they could get 2x what they paid for it on eBay.

The pawn shop didn't have a sellig price on it. He said that he was taking offers until the week before Christmas and then would sell it to the highest offer. He said that it was up to $650 currently.

It's possible it wasn't stolen. The owner may have bad credit and no credit card at all, thus they can't sell on ebay, they're banned from ebay, or they either need the cash quick for drugs or bills.

Strangely there are probably people that don't have the internet or have never heard of ebay... hmm maybe?

The likelihood of someone having an Xbox 360 but not having internet access is pretty low.

some people just dont sell o ebay at all. Giving it to a pawn shop is unlikely, but if you want my opinion the pawn shop owner bought it himself to sell at his store.
Why doesnt the shop owner sell it on ebay? well thats a good question, maybe he doesnt want to be bothered, and maybe thats why he owns a pawn shop instead of selling the stuff on ebay.

While people have proven some good points, I'm sure the person could have easily found someone to sell it to. If I had one I wanted to get rid of and didn't have access to the internet, I would just go up to someone, ask if they are interested in buying an XBOX 360 and I'm sure I'd get rid of it on the spot.

So my conclusion? Drugs.

There's the remote possibility that it wasn't stolen, but c'mon.... we are talking about a pawn shop, right?

Offer him a grand and never return!
