I saw this at Gamestop the other day. I've never heard of this before. Has anyone else played it?

Yeah, I bought one. The screen is remarkably clear. It's basically an NES on a chip, and the games are mostly the cheap ones that show up on things like those Dream Gear famiclones. A couple of the games are significant graphical/audio hacks of Track and Field events, Pooyan, etc. It's worth the $30 just for the weirdness factor.

So I went ahead and bought one today. The quick verdict? I've spent $30 on worse.
Actually, it's not bad. As David said, the backlit screen is quite clear and I didn't notice any blurring while playing. A good chunk of the games are basically Game & Watch quality games, and some of those are repeated with different graphics (one game has you catching eggs, the other rainbows). Then there are the couple of games where you just end up staring at the screen muttering "What the F**K?" Oh, and there's not one, but TWO LAWN MOWING GAMES! Yippie skippie, Christmas came early this year! Most of the "Fifty" games are in the "Wits" category, which is essentially puzzle games. There are some pretty good hacks of Columns and Breakout, as well as variations of internet puzzlers like ZooKeeper. The only real sore spot I have is that the D-Pad isn't very responsive and outright malfunctions in a few games.
Overall, I have to agree with David. Definately worth it for the weirdness factor. Not to mention the sheer irony of being able to play a lawn mowing game as I'm mowing the lawn. Brilliant!

According to Tips & Tricks, there's also a "Mini" version with 30 games and a smaller screen, and a "Max" version with 75 games and a bigger screen. Weird, huh?
