I finally wound up getting this game, although loose! I would like to eventually have this game complete though, so I am looking to purchase or trade for the instructions and box. I mainly have NES, Atari 2600, TI 99/4A and Genesis items for trade. Willing to pay $20 for the box and instructions (depending on condition).

Thanks

Have you played the NES version? WHat did you think of it? Is the GB version any different/better? Everyone slams NES Castlequest. :/

Actually, it's a completely different game from CastleQuest on the NES. I never played all the way through it on the NES, but it wasn't too bad. :)

Are you sure that there was only an European release? I could've sworn I saw that it got a US release.

Almost positive, but I have been wrong before! Actually, I hope I am wrong as I would really like to have this game.

It's Euro. Castlequest was released on NES in the US, but not on GB.

Er, you seem to be mistaking Castlequest, published by ASCII/NEXOFT on the NES, with Castle Quest (note the space), published on the Game Boy in Europe and Famicom in Japan by Hudson Soft. The Japanese version of Castle Quest (again, space) is called Triumph.

Kitsune, I know the difference, I was just meaning the game name....sorry about not clarifying...

You are persistent. Have you tried working other message boards? If someone here had it, you have to believe they would have contacted you by now. It seems like you have been looking for this game forever. Good luck.

Thanks for the words of luck. I haven't tried any other forums, I just honestly don't have the time to check other forums as I barely have time to check this one! I just keep hoping a collector in europe will read this, come across the game, think of me and get it. :)

Anywho....bump!
