I keep thinking about picking up one or all of these late release shmups for DC. If you could get one which would you get?
Cheers,

Border Down, without a second thought.
Trizeal really wasn't that great, good thing it won't end up being the last commercial title..
And most people say that Chaos Field wasn't that great, while I hear everyone talk about how great Border Down is (and I think its great too :))

I'd have to agree. I own all 3 games and here's my tuppence worth: While Trizeal is pretty good it's not Earth shattering. Chaos Field is a bit average - it's only Boss Battles interceded with the occasional wee ship. The music's nice though! Border Down is brilliant! The graphics, sound effects, music and controls are all lovely - a classic and it's already collectable. I highly recommend it. :)

No contest, Border Down.
Triz and Chaos are such utter garbage.

Its real easy...Border Down is the best of those 3. Matter of fact it may be the best shootie on the Dreamcast. My favorite anyways.

Trizeal is mediocre and Chaos Field is pap. Border Down is far and away the best of the three.
Shikigami no Shiro 2 and Psyvariar 2 are two other recent Dreamcast shmups, both of which are better than Trizeal or Chaos Field (but still worse than Border Down).

I love Trizeal and Border Down a lot. Chaos Field wasn't that great, so stay away.

Oh well, I just got a good deal on Chaos Field. Border Down is a bit pricy for me at the moment.
I have Radilgy and Under Defeat preordered. Hope they are good too (Under Defeat looks pretty sweet)...
Cheers,
Ben
