Sold an item. Buyer did not pay. 7 days of no responses to me emails.
Filed a non-paying bidder dispute. Now I gotta wait another 7 day of no responses.
Stupid.
Don't want to wait any longer. I want to sell the game to someone else!!!

So sell it to someone else. There's nothing to stop you - it's just the fees refund that has to wait. Ebay don't particularly want to make it easy for people to get refunds .. it's not really in their interests, after all.

Okay. Good solution. But what if the Buyer suddenly decides -on day 14- to pay me? The game would be up for auction & not available.
You're right though. Ebay does not really want to refund money - just like any other store. Maybe I'll follow your advice & relist the game tonight. Screw the original Buyer.

I think that if you enter the dispute console, there is an option you can select that says somethign along the lines of "I don't want to carry on trying to resolve this" and you can end it early - but I'm not sure the details of that.
Anyway, if they send you payment, just return it. Paypal refunds are easy. If it's a cheque, either mail it back or just tear it up. Money order or cash ... well, I guess you can only mail it back again.

You have to wait 7 days - as I stated in post #1.

So sell it to someone else. There's nothing to stop you - it's just the fees refund that has to wait. "If your original listing resulted in an Unpaid Item -
"Make sure that you filed an Unpaid Item dispute for the original listing and requested a full Final Value Fee credit for that listing. This credit must be posted to your account before you can receive the Insertion Fee credit."
You see? I have to wait else I don't get my 25 relist fee back.
