Can someone tell me why this is going for so much?

LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8239528583&fromMakeTrack=true)

The guide lists it at 15 loose. Am I missing something here ??

The Sears picture label variant is supposedly quite rare.

...Rare enough to make people crazy, I guess :D

That's one of the craziest things I've ever seen...

Time to run to my local stores and see if they have one. >_>

"rare label makes people crazy" is the right phrase.
Huge waste of money.

The last one (couple months ago) sold for a little more than this.. can't remember. I beleive it is subtlely different than the normal (common) release.

I don't get it. Can't some people technically just buy a text label cart, remove the label, print out a scan of the picture label, and paste it onto the cart? If done with a high enough quality printer, it could probably be convincing.

Same reason people pay alot for Stadium Events.
Well, I mean people who want to make big bucks, they can do that and make a slew of money, can't they?

Wow all that money for one of the worst Atari games ever made. I guess people get to a point in their video game collecting life where they have all the fun/good titles and they start buying the crap games like this one. I am long away from ever having to worry about that.
