Gold Edition N64 Question...

I have a question about the TRU exclusive Gold Limited Edition N64. Those of you who bought them new, can you please tell me if they came with an exspansion pak already installed or did they just come with the regular jumper pak? Also, how was the second "loose" controller packed in the box? I noticed that the styrofoam piece that held the console, one controller, and the cables is much shorter than the box and that the second controller doesn't fit into the styrofoam anywhere. Thanks for the help!!

I think there were 2 versions of packaging: One with the extra controller & one without

It seems to me like the extra controller came in a second styrofoam piece. Truthfully it has been a long time and I unfortunately do not still have my packaging to check and verify.

I also do not think that it came with the expansion pack. If you still have the box look and see if it is advertised as coming with the expansion pack..if it doesn't then it didn't have it included. Nintendo really pushed those things back then and would have made a big deal out of it.

so, now...it didnt come with the expansion pack installed

The controller should be facing out and be one of the first things that you see when you open it up, if memory serves me correct. I have one and I can tell you it is a bitch to put in.

as i recall it was packaged inside an extra brown cardboard box, which filled the void between the styrofoam and the extended outer box....the 'free atomic purple controller' was the same way.
