I have been working on a way to frontlight my NGPC since I couldnt find an afterburner since the afterburner is a little scarce now. I am almost complete I just need to install a slide switch SPST and find an adequate power source.

Here's a pic sorry it's not very clear, apparently my digicam doesn't have macro so it can't focus that close.

As you can see it's pretty well lit.

Feedback would be cool.

Neat! How much altering did the Afterburner need to make it fit?

I didnt use an after burner kit. I used the lighting mechanism from a gameboy SP. I had to cut the rails that align the screen on the NGPC since the SP screen light was wider and had to scrape the protective coating off the screen electronics in order for me to solder kynar wrapping wire to power the LED that lights the screen. It actually wanst very hard to do at all, well for me.

I tried contacting Triton Labs if they by chance have any afterburners still lying around but they told me no and now they only produce music or something. weird.
