Hi there everybody, i´m very happy for my new adquisitions (i wrote it ok?), cos i´ve found two famicom carts, but, i´m not sure they are original and for one of thouse, i don´t know the name...
Here are some pics to help you, so you could help me :P

This is Thexder (is it?) cos i never heard about this game before. Is it rare?, it´s original? that are my two questions for this cart.

As for this one, i think it´s Baseball ´87, but i´m not sure about the name, so add a new question more to solve: what is the name of this cart?, also...is it rare? it´s original?
I put two images of each one, front and back. Click them for a better view.
And don´t think the carts are dirty, because i had cleaned it a lot (this carts were in a park and they were very used with tons of dust).
Anyway, any help will be great. Thanks in advance!!!

Thexder is a great shooter that also had a version on the PC. I don't believe its that rare though, it is the first version of the game.

The cover art makes it look like that shooter may be similar to the macross shooter also for the famicom. Are they alike in any ways?
I thought that Macross shooter was awesome.

I have the same Thexder cart and loved it to bits. I remember seeing pictures for it in the Sierra games catalog (since they published the US PC version) and thinking that it just looked amazing (man, there were just so many frames of animation for the transformation!). Ended up picking up the famicom cart a few years ago just for nostalgic value.
I wound up getting the second Thexder game (Fire Hawk) for a present one year and never was quite able to beat it. Hard game with a limited continue feature, iirc. One of these days I'll fire it up in DOSbox and beat the damn thing, heh :)
Anyone know if Thexder 95 was any good and if it'd be worth tracking down? Sorry to tangent the hell out of this topic :(

I've not seen that baseball cart before, but judging by the year ('87), and the fact that the cart seems to be manufactured by Namco, I'm willing to bet it's RBI Baseball.

Yep, it was called Family Stadium '87 in Japan. It was a popular game in Japan, so it's pretty common.

Thanks, but I don't like downloading cd rips off the The Underdogs. They have a knack for ripping music tracks, videos, whatever to make the downloads smaller...which I think is totally contrary to their goal of actually preserving software. Their version of Thexder 95 for instance only has the 640x480 graphics and their version of Snatcher is the fucked up ISO+MP3 version that requires SegaCD authors to write some dirty hacks to get running :(
CD-Rip: For your convenience, we only included the full 640x480 version of the game. Add-ons with the 800x600 and 1024x768 resolutions will follow today. This will make the CD whole.
:(
It looks like NIB copies of the game are under $10 on ebay, so I'll probably just score a copy there and hook anyone that wants it up with a bin/cue.

Well, the best of all is that my Famicom carts are original and could be identified. Maybe i should play them (oh, c´mon, i´m very lazy to connect the machine on the TV)...i will download the rom... :D

Oh no, it's cool man. I didn't mean to rant or come off snobbish; I really appreciate the sentiment :) It's just that Underdogs bugs the hell out of me with their stubbron ways of supporting mid 90s piracy of cd games instead of making an actual effort to preserve the titles. At least it gives me a reason to rip bin/cues and share pieces of my PC game collection, though :)

I saw a bunch of copies of that game while I was there, I don't think it's that rare.
