I can confirm Animal Genius at Gamestop. Also, I have a copy of the Frisbee game, but recieved it as a gift from someone in the industry so I haven't seen it in the store yet...it is on GS/EBs website though.

Backyard Basketball

I saw that at Best Buy today.

I also saw a lovely DSI 2 pack over there, however this was two games in one, ATV something-or-other and Monster Truck Madness, in a single case (and i'm assuming on a single card), both of which look to be the sequels to their original DS releases (and also appear to have been made for the GBA, and look just like their GBA counterparts screen shot wise).

I'll check on the titles today as, i'm sending my launch DS off to better pastures. Top screen is yellowing and my battery is lucky to last 4 hours now.

I did get in the lovely lovely Nintendo DS Browser today (it's still available on Nintendo's site if you don't have one). Does anyone with a DS Lite browser wanna post their NTR catalog number for the browser card so I can compare it to the Phat browser packaging? I've gotta hunt down a Lite Browser now, but they've seemed to have dried up everywhere.

I have a question for anyone who has the demo version of Meteos. Is your copy the full version of the game or a demo version as is the case with most DS demos.

It looks to be the full version of the game, at least according to the amount of functions that the game seems to be showing to me in the Data section. It also looks like the demo lets you play all modes of the game, including online play

I've added the games that have been posted plus the following, which I saw at EB this past weekend: Holly Hobbie, Master Jin Jin, Paws & Claws Best Friends, Touch Detective 2 1/2, Bleach, FIFA 08, Flipper Critters, Flash Focus, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, Avatar, Cheetah Girls, Thrillville, Prism, and Wild Petz Dolphinz. *whew* Crazy week, and it'll be even crazier this week. I've seen the above games at GameStop/EB last week.

I've been monitoring Nintendo DS demo sales for awhile, and it seems like in the last few months there have been less and less for sale. When there are games for sales, they are the older DS demos. I wonder if Nintendo is clamping down on people who take the demos out of kiosks after a new one comes in, or possibly clamping down on the auctions themselves.

Well, I've officially bowed out of DS collecting. There is way too much garbage being pumped out faster than I can even keep track of it. It just isn't fun anymore. I just took about 230 of my games and brought them to my store so if anyone is looking for any hard to find titles, I might have some for sale. I kept a little over 100 games, which is still impressive to me. Also, I'll probably still be collecting demos and special bundle systems, so I'm not completely stopping everything.

Good luck guys with your collections and if I can continue to be of help I will try my best.

I posted many moons ago. I sort of went off to other systems collecting after I got to around 50 NDS games. Now I really feel like picking it up again but according to Nintendo's master list there are already 497 games out! That is insane =) I can't believe so many games been out since last time I checked.

One question I hope you guys could help me out though, what is this weblink thingy? I tried searching on Nintendo.com but couldn't find it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much =)

When I was at Target last night I saw their Demo DS contained a Phantom Hourglass demo. I didn't actually play it so I don't know if it resets or its the full version ect.

I forgot about the Planet Puzzle League demo thats out there as well (I think there should also be a Naruto one that was in the same 2 DS display setup as Planet Puzzle League)

Hamsterz was definitely the last of the 'Petz' games to come out. Online retailers were showing the others in stock initially, with Hamsterz looking like it was delayed a week. It should be out by now, but I haven't seen it.

Things are finally starting to slow down, so we can get caught up from the crazy number of releases in October and November. Here are the new additions:

We might be closer to figuring out the Rafa Nadal Tennis mystery. I picked up a game called 'Power Play Tennis' by Codemasters. I believe it has the same cover photo as Rafa Nadal Tennis had. The copyrights on the back are for 2006 and 2007.

What's a bit odd is that there is hardly a mention of the game online - and that includes the Codemasters site (not that surprising - if you ask them Rafa Nadal Tennis is readily available in North America). Large sites like IGN don't have it listed in their database. Online retailers aren't selling it. There isn't even a single copy on ebay.

I guess the game is just starting to hit, so it may be one to keep an eye on. Canucks, I found the game at a Zellers in the bargain bin. It was the only one there, but I'm sure other locations are getting it in too.

Well, I guess that explains why I can't find it at any websites. I'm sure it'll make it's way to the US soon (a Canadian exclusive can't possibly be lucrative), but I'l take it off the list for now. Any objections?

A similar case may be Real Soccer 2008 by Ubisoft. I'm starting to see that game everywhere here, but no American sites are listing it.

I've seen Luxor 2 at GameStop/EB.

I've yet to see any Warhammers and it took GS/EB an extra week to get Elements of Disaster into their actual stores, so i'm guessing this is the case with that game as well.

Are you sure Di-Gata is out? Your mention is the first i've even seen the name mentioned anywhere. Also, Amazon is listing its release in October 2008.

Yup, Di-Gata - positive! I was surprised too. It was initially set for a late 2007 release, then got pushed to 08. Same thing seemed to happen to Betty Boop - got pushed to 08, then arrived out of nowhere. Plus it's by Game Factory, who don't exactly offer the most reliable release dates.

Anyways, I saw it at Toys R Us, but haven't seen it at any game stores at all.

I also saw some 'special editions' at TRU:

- A Cars: Mater National Gift Set, which was boxed with some extras like a game sleeve and stylus
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 with game skins (they are just in the cellophane, no special packaging)
- Catz 2 with an extra breed

Just wanna say that this thread is really useful. Unfortunately, I don't live in the States so it's difficult for me to contribute to the list.

Anyhoo, does anyone here keep a list of PAL games as well? I tried to look up a list. I found a list on the official nintendo site, it has 153 games. But on another shopping site, Tesco, it has over 400 games listed so I am not sure if the list on nintendo's site is exhuastive.

Can someone give me their 2 cents? Many thanks.

I spied a new Demo cart today.

A EB that I went into (still havn't had the name change, and I don't think they're getting it) had a 2 DS Lite kiosk in there and one of the two systems had a Mario Party DS Demo (other had Phantom Hourglass).

The Tesco list might include "coming soon" games and possibly even imports (heck, maybe GBA games since they play in the DS?)... But I don't know if 153 is the correct number. Without actually checking, 400 seems about right for the total number of games in the US (Nintendo's game list shows 502, but includes future releases; when did they remove filtering on release date?). Even the 153 UK/IE list shows future releases...

When you say Nintendo list, do you mean that there is a list on Nintendo US website or the list we have here? I went to check on Nintendo US website but I can't find the "master list" for different systems they used to have. Am I going to the wrong page/site or missing something? Thanks for your help!!!

The number of North American games is about 500 now. I don't know how many have been released for PAL, but I imagine it's much more than 153.

I added Luxor to the list (thanks for the head's up, Papastu!). Still searching for Indianapolis 500 Legends, if anybody spots it.

Codemasters just released Super Fruitfall and Impossible Mission exclusively via GameStop just before xmas. This could be an Amazon/Target exclusive.

I know I ask the same basic question every so often. but I want to figure this out.

I'm at about 70 games give or take. I know there are lots more. Is it possible to go for a complete set? Or am I too far off to catch up?

Also, picked up Geom. Wars Galaxies yesterday, had a hard time finding it for some reason(at best buy that is. had a gift card) but have been playing it a whole bunch, the game is amazing.

Collection wise its closing in on 400 if it hasn't already blown by that mark.

I decided a while back that going for everything was just going to be stupid (especially with my collection habits) and now i'm just going for the 'good' stuff. Most all puzzlers, all Nintendo stuff, most anything Konami, Capcom, Square, Agetec, NamcoBandai, Atlus and a decent amount of stuff from the smaller US publishers (Secret Stash Games ect) thats not utter shit and just doing that has me just a smidge under 200 DS games.

I just found my first copy of Rythm N Notes at a KayBee toys tonight. I just couldn't bring myself to spending 20 bucks on it though. I'd never even heard of it or had seen it anywhere before today and this thing was released back in October.

Add another Not For Resale demo to the list True Swing Golf.

I picked this game up from Kay*Bee a little while back. I figure down the line it'll be harder to come by and I'm a sucker for rhythm/reflex games. If you can find it for $10-15 then pick it up. $20 is a little steep and only if you have cash burning a hole in your pocket. :)

I'd invest more time in the game but I somehow got hooked into playing Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap alot lately.
