since i'll be spending my xmas alone this year, I thought I'd buy a few games for myself if I ever have time to play them.

since gamestop and ebgames were having a buy 2 get one free sale I decided to splurge on the games i've been putting off for awile. (the fact that romancing saga was mispriced was a nice bonus as I loved the sfc version)

I alsp picked up one of those psx external mod things for a few bucks with some gameshark pros for gbc and psx.

the fun part of this find was one my way out of gamestop on my lunch break there was a reasonably pretty girl with a huge box of dvds that she was selling ,she looked pretty pissed off at the prices the guy was quoting her for the stuff, so I leaned over and suggested that she meet me outside if she didn't like what she was getting offered.
I looked around a bit and walked out ( I didn't buy the games I wanted till after work)

anywho she followed me out and I looked throug the dvds. I picked out the ones in the picture plus street gangs of new york (lent to a friend) and she said 15 for them all.
it turns out her boyfriend had cheated on her and left her, but he didn't take all his shit with him, so she decided to sell them on his ass ;-)
I normaly am not a dvd guy, hell most of those movies are garbage, but for the price..it was worth it for spaceballs ;-)
sometimes I like living in vegas.
so all in all a good day for me

Looking around in the mall for a PS Bowling game my Mom asked me to get(for child of friend with down syndrome/request by him)..

I picked up Halo 2 Multiplayer Map-Pack for $9.99 and a three PS game combo for $12.99(Bowling PS within)
So with my Mom's $10.00,that's $3.00 for two PS games for me..not bad..Hey I looked all over for this Bowling game and it had to be new..
FYE has a ton of the three PS Game Combo packs.

Go to Target I see Far Cry for $37.77(sign under game with no other games in a spot where it could be wrong)..Someone before me gets the employee to get him one out of the case as he thought it was $37.77 too.(not sure if he got it for $37.77)
I think about buying it and go look at something else and then ask that same employee to get me a Far cry and Call Of Duty 2(big red one)..He rings them up and It's over $100.00..WTF!!..I ask him about the $37.77 price-sign and he says there is no sign.. ..I go look and the sign is GONE!!)(felt embarrassed,yet flustered).,So I switch it for Half-life 2 for $39.99..

Don't feel upset at that girl, to be honest with you, Mircosoft hasn't told us jack squat about the deal with the 360 (As I work for GameCrazy) Not even corporate has told us a single thing. If she doesn't know, then honestly she does not know. People keep bugging us, there was a rumor going around about Dec 12th for a new shipment, but nothing happened! Had over 30 people calling last night and it was insane..

So please, don't be upset with these idiots, it's not their fault, just that nobody has told the facts from the fictions. They are mere pawns in this retail game..that don't make enough cash to buy a house..Just there to blink and sell stupid plastic cards called "Game Informer Card" or "Discount Card" or "MVP" whatever they want....We all know all the retail game stores that are mainstream are about as informative as a drunken gas station owner...except sober....


As for the system breaking down, that is no surprise, three of our stores had their display kiosk break down easily.

I got Goldeneye: Rogue Agent for GameCube ($10) and Medal of Honor: Frontline for Xbox ($5) at Wal-Mart.

I picked up Timesplitters: Future Perfect for GameCube for $10 from Toys R Us. Stood in line for 45 minutes for that one.

I walked into Gamestop and the manager there just handed me free sealed copies of WWE: Aftershock and Worms World Party for N-gage for free. They're up for trade, since I already own them...

Bit the bullet and finally laid out the cash for the GC versions of Resident Evil 2 & 3 at Gamestop. Expensive, yes, but it is very satisfying to finally have them on the shelf. :) Also picked up Code Veronica X for the Cube. I have never played through any of these, so now I can.

Now to wait for my next paycheck so I can pick up non-GH versions of the remake and Zero...

We asked the girl employee in Gamestop about the 360 latest in store dates and her answer was I dunno...I asked her about the PS Bowling title and she said I dunno yet didn't move...We asked"so what do you know"..got no response..More like DUH!!stuck in a trance.. :angry: LOL

I dunno; one of my friends hired two Bea Arthur-looking people at his game store. I'll spare you on the details, but let's just say that they fequently said things like "what's a Pee-ehS-Pee?" or "...we actually have to work?!?" on the first day. They were out of there in less then two weeks :eek 2:.

EDIT: for some reason, whenever I type-in "parishilton", (two words un-seperated for purposes explained below), it comes-up as "Bea Arthur". Can anybody tell me WHAT THE F*CK is going on?!?!
